The human race could be at risk. Observing the world and its inhabitants, this planet has proved to be a very dangerous place for the human being. We as a species, although not nearly as strong or as fast as most animals are, a brilliant, mechanically inclined race that has created and designed ways to make us the most dominating force on the planet. Our advancements in modern technology has grown to become a necessity. Ironically, modern technology although vital to the survival of men and women, through evident health risks, less jobs, and invasion of privacy may also become our specie’s very demise.
With every passing day, the ingenuity of the human race brings new and easier ways to complete everyday tasks. With such advancements there is a possibility that the human race may evolve into a weaker and much unhealthier species. For example, even though considered a stretch, in the 2008 computer animated film “Wall-E”, Humans no longer walk. Humans are carried from place to place on-board robotic cars. Everyday tasks such as cleaning, errands, and simple chores are no longer needed to be done by humans, instead computers and robots handle these issues. Humans become extremely over-weight, over reliant on machines, and lose intelligence due to lack of interaction with the world around them. Humans are becoming more, and more reliant on the mechanics of robotics everyday. Modern technology has given men and women great power; the power to travel great distances, live longer, gain vast knowledge, even change their appearances. What if today all modern technology is suddenly stripped from the planet? How would humans who have lived with it since they were born handle day to day life? With less work needed to be done manually, thi...

...efield and will also provide information about the soldier that he or she may not wish to share. This technology has also been put into consideration for the general public of United States civilians, which would be a major invasion of privacy. If not monitored or watched over closely, this technology could also become America’s and possibly also the worlds way to track every single human being that exists on the planet.
As you can tell, technology has helped shape the human species into what it is today, bringing new ways of life, shifting the ways of living, and it is the driving force behind what is and what will become of all men and women. Although, very helpful in some cases to the species, modern technology, like most things, has a dark side and has proved time and time again to be a very treacherous and dangerous virtue to human life after all.
I agree with Ray Bradbury, humanity is doomed. Technology has created so many problems, so rapidly, that humans cannot respond to the changes. Technology has become a tool that makes our lives easier, but the negative effects are far too overpowering, making it almost impossible to stop it before it is too late. Examples from “The Veldt,” and “There Will Come Soft Rains,” show the potential dangers that technology could bring. It may seem unbelievable, but just as George Hadley said, “This is a little too real, but I don’t see anything wrong,” (Bradbury 1). Humans cannot see the problem, only past it. Global warming, antibiotic overuse, overpopulation, and modern warfare, are just a few of the threats technology bestows upon us.
Mankind must fight the urge to be blinded by technology’s benefits and to consider what must be lost to gain these conveniences.
Technology is supposed to be seen as such an advancement and great accomplishment. What others may not always know is sometimes it isn’t all fun and games, it can be dangerous. As seen when we created the atomic bomb and guns, their only purpose is to destroy and cause pain to others. Although they are not always in use, they are a constant threat to our well being. We need to take into consideration the positives and the negatives of the technology we create today.
As decades and centuries pass, technology evolves. Machines become more efficient, and communication between locations becomes easier. Due to this, the process of doing things changes. Especially with the advent of the Internet, it is important to understand and look deeper into the effects of technology on society, as it is “complexly woven into the circumstances and rhythms of social life” (Gasher, Skinner and Lorimer, 2012, p. 155). For this reason, there are various perspectives on technology. These perspectives, as demonstrated by Andrew Feenberg (1999) in Questioning Technology, are: instrumentalism, determinism, substantivism, constructivism, and critical theory. Being a socio-technical ensemble, the smartphone is an example of technology

In today's world, technology is constantly changing from a new paperclip to an improvement in hospital machinery. Technology lets people improve the way they live so that they can preserve their own personal energy and focus on the really important factors in life. Some people focus their energy on making new innovations to improve transportation and the health of people that may save lives and some people focus on making new designs of packaging CDS. Technology is significant in everyone's life because it rapidly changes what is in the market. But, some new innovations of technology are ridiculous because they serve no purpose in helping mankind.
Whether technology is with us or hurting us, we still have to use it and it affects our lives daily. We need it to get a hold of someone. We need it to do our jobs. Most importantly, we need it to keep our lives away from harm. There are many ways to manipulate technology, but technology has more good to it than bad. There are those who use it for good, like investigators so they can figure out the real story. Then there are those who use it for bad, just like those who commit cyber bullying along with other minor and major things. We need technology regardless if people argue they like or not. There is no way to stop technology and keeping people from making it better. With the developments in technology, we may be able to enjoy all the pricey luxuries and still enjoy life at the same time.
Advancements in science and technology can be very beneficial, but they also pose a big threat. What happens when they are relied too heavily upon? There is a loss of communication, relationships, and freedom. The majority of the population begins to live in fear as a select few delve deeper into the next big phenomenon, or what they believe to be the means by which the society will prosper. This infatuation with science and technology will bring nothing but destruction, as it prevents all individuals from fully experiencing life.
Over the last few decades, technology has greatly increased its abilities. It started from the simple radio to now having cell phones which can surf the web. Technology has greatly influenced our society in many ways. Nowadays it has made family relationships have a different connection and has simplified people’s lives. A couple decades ago, a person would never had imagined to Skype a family member across the world. It would be like trying to imagine teleportation. It was unthinkable, but with moderation, technology has evolved for the better. With the new technology in our world, people are able to talk to their distant family members. People are also able to save time and watch a movie with their extra time. There are pros and cons to having technology nowadays. Yes, people are able to communicate faster and save money, but technology is also disconnecting them from the people around them. Technology has changed humanity for the better, but humans must know to use technology in moderation.
Technology is unavoidable in our modern lifestyle. You wake up, you use technology; you use technology while cooking, while eating, while driving. While you’re lying in bed before you fall asleep, you use technology, technology wakes you up in the morning. Is all the technology around you good for you, or is it harmful to your health? Was our society healthier or safer before all the advancements? So many questions and concerns about all of the technology we crave, but there are very few people who know the answers. Technology affects all parts of human life. It can create jobs, motivate people to get active, and assist people in learning, but this does not balance out that there are dangers that follow the use of technology.
Technology is making our life easier than before, but are we getting too much dependent on it? Technology is getting improved by past decades. It has become a part and parcel in everyday life. Without it, people would have a lot of trouble to keep pace with the whole world. At the same time, todays new generations incredibly dependent on it. They do not want to use their brain as there are lots of search engines they can easily access and can find out what they want. Technology creates problems about pollution and global warming and at the same time people are using technology to reduce these problems. Overdependence on technology is harmful for humans’ existence because it creates addiction that makes people inactive, decrease job opportunities and causes physical or mental disorders that is a great threat for mans’ life.
Humans used to be able to kill mammoths and a lot of stuff we think is just crazy now a days. There’s always the risk of evolution of humans becoming weaker and weaker. Humans are already weaker than we used to be. Technology can be making our eyes worse or our body’s less physique than they are. We cannot predict what will happen from the technology that we are so dependent on now a days. It might be for good or it might be for bad. I generally speaking think that technology can help us evolve. The possibilities you can take technology is endless well until you run out of resources in the next million years or two but yeah. Technology could lead us to possibilities that we thought were just impossible. I mean think about it the endless possibilities the endless minds making endless inventions. Technology wise we are constantly evolving and our understanding of technology is getting better and better. Yet our understanding of other things are getting worse. The more we rely on technology the more our weakness grows. The weakness of being addicted, eyestrain, several others are possible through the technology that we love so much. The more we open up to technology the more the future generation is more likely to have those
In the 21st century, we live in the era of technology-driven world. Humans never stopped the development of technology, because we always have a natural tendency to pursue a higher level of human being. Technology is the best evidence of human intelligence, which has shown that we are different from other animals. We have lived with technology since we were born. Although it has intervened heavily in our daily lives that we can’t no longer live without, nobody can deny the achievements it has brought to us.
To sum it all up, people can see many positive effects of technology on different aspects of human life such as education, personal safety, agriculture, and the environment; however, not everyone thinks about its downsides. Though modern technology indeed facilitates people’s tasks and duties, it may weaken human bodies, ruin nature, and destroy good values regarding social communication. I believe in technology, I completely support it, but only to an extent. I say go ahead and enjoy what technology has to offer, learn about the world we live in, entertain yourself and consume in it. Just until it doesn’t affect your appearance or the people around you and especially the person in you. Think about it like this, we as humans made machines we can’t let machines make us who we are.
