These resources can save the lives of many African's dying of preventable and curable disease, and understanding why the African continent has little access to them should be interesting. In the following paragraphs the information will answer who is affected by Africa's healthcare crisis, what government programs or agencies impacted Africa's healthcare system, why there is a shortage of nurses, and how this issue has been addressed. The healthcare crisis in Africa is a prominent issue that affects all of Africa's residents in some way. The crisis affects African's because preventable diseases and poor living sanitation causes them to have low life expectancy. The high rate of preventable diseases being transmitted throughout the population includes tuberculosis, STI's, HIV/AIDS, and malaria.
Megan Kosten Barovero,pd.3 History 5.0 13 April 2014 Child Labor in Bangladesh Child labor has continued to be an ongoing problem in Bangladesh. There are many reasons for child labor, however, the top three reasons are because childrens’ families need money to buy food, they need money to buy clothing, and most of their parents lived in horrible shantytowns. Since these children's’ parents lived in such harsh conditions, they did not want their children living with them under these circumstances. These children are poor, which means they have no source of income to buy food or clothing. If children did not work in Bangladesh, They would starve to death.
Drought left hardship for all three regions and the impact is large-scale. The solution process to this drought is not making the impact it needs to for there is people dying daily from living in this drought. Therefore, the fact remands this drought changed the way of East African peoples life and the affects on the children who never knew the environment any other way are all born into a life of inequality and with all the resources in the world and ability to make food surplus there is no reason to why people should be starving not only due drought but in any condition.
All this experience will help me determine exactly what field I want to specialize in as I further my education. While working as a direct social worker, I am going back to school to obtain my master’s degree. Ultimately, I want to obtain a master’s degree and go into the clinical setting. Once I earn my master’s degree, I want to immediately start working under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker to obtain the hours I need to take the state exam. Once I pass the state exam I will apply for my license to advance in my career.
There are multiple Undergraduate degree paths I can take to prepare myself for grad-school; however, I chose a path that can help me develop skills to provide the best possible service for my future patients. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences

I have strove to make a difference wherever I can. As volunteer at Christian Assistance Ministry I witnessed the overworked conditions that the social workers and volunteers faced. Worn from these conditions these dedicated workers had no respite from their daily work of feeding, clothing and providing funds for the homeless and families who have found themselves in a desperate situation. Although I had many job responsibilities at Christian Assistance Ministry the most common was that of interviewer where I assessed the clients situation and offered help either monetary or tha... ... middle of paper ... ...ve worked with before and I am anxious to meet those I have not. There is camaraderie in the Education Department that I do not feel is quite like any other at Texas A&M.
My international experience and education should make me an ideal candidate for their program, and having the opportunity to stay in a community for a longer period of time would allow me maximum impact. The two year contract would allow me to immerse myself within their culture completely. I know the Peace Corps training will leave me well prepared as I enter a community, and I know I will leave that community with a better understanding and appreciation of our world. I am looking forward to an exciting future within international agriculture and know that with determination as well as the support of the Oklahoma State family all of these goals can be accomplished.

Thirdly, I will continue to keep in touch with other participants of the conference so that we will be able to keep discussing and evolving ESD practices and skills.
It is very interesting to actually be out in the field. This year I have learned of the different teaching methods and many philosophies of education. I have decided that for my future classroom, my philosop... ... middle of paper ... ...I will work towards my master’s right after I obtain my bachelor’s degree or if I will instead work through my master’s while I am teaching. These are decisions that I will be better able to make upon graduation from the bachelor’s program at Concord College.
