This report demonstrates how social media has become a significant social platform in the world as it enhances the integration and the diffusion of social networks such as MySpace and Facebook. The social platforms with the highest traffic or visitors in the world today are Facebook and Google. This article interrogates if the increased use of social media contributes to the positive growth of the standards of living in the society.
