Why Social Media is Destroying are Social life Social Media is something that millions of people of all ages are using to communicate with one another even if it 's through twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and or texting. Because of the Social Media, it is now the number one interaction that dominates online and offline when it comes to socializing. According to CBS news, A 31-year-old financial executive of New York named Kim Stolz, always checking on her friends all the time when it comes to love and social media, but she has noticed that her friends have this addiction to social media way too much. Students said that their anxiety or stress levels are at its high when viewing photos of their peers having fun and comparing themselves or their lives to the photos. The students realized it 's easy to portray a different version of themselves on the internet, yet, still felt pressured to look as though they’re living it up in college.” There are a handful of people that can be distracted by social media, even when you are at school or work, it can be really sad because one can lose track of time on what he or she is supposed to be doing.
