Many healthcare organizations use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, to engage with patients and consumers, and marketing and communications. Through social media, millions of people publish their thoughts and interests through blogs, consumers rely more online for information, and the public has access to quality and cost ratings.
Some healthcare organization sites offer patients a place to share positive experiences and personal stories to help consumers determine where to obtain healthcare services. Consumers now base online opinions to inform their purchases and companies use social media to market their messages and promote their products and services to their consumers.

Healthcare organizations use social media to communicate their mission and vision, describe their services, provide health education and wellness, and sponsor online support forums where patients can find support. III. Problem Statement.
