When I was first assigned this project, I had a relatively clear idea of what concept I was going to choose as my topic, and what I expected to find when researching it, as this is has been a prevalent issue in the United States for the entirety of my life. However, through the knowledge I have gained in Sociology 101, I saw prejudice against Muslim’s in America in an entirely new light and began to realize that the root of this social injustice is much more complex than I had known before. When completing the first part of this project, I drew from what I have personally heard and seen to choose potential sources of this issue.
