The Blue Collar brilliance is a great example of why the white collar jobs are not always the most useful. Blue collar jobs are the people with not so much of the Intelligence but great social skills and other skills not exactly learned. These workers are not dumb at all but they are hard works the labor workers, the workers that did not go to college. The blue collar workers are equally as important to the workforce to make everything function properly. Just because they did not go to college does not take away from what they mean to the workforce. The blue collar population has to be some of the most hard working people. Fast food workers spend hours making money that they can not even live off of. Waitresses have to basically rely on tips if customers leave it so usually they can not live off of that either. Construction workers or any worker that happens to work outside in manual labor have it some of the worst. Workers that work outside have to work outside whether it be ninety five degrees or five degrees while raining. Sometimes the pay is alright but they are usually being underpaid for the type of work that they are doing. White collar jobs are almost never to those conditions. Their jobs consists of well paid jobs that their intelligence can handle. Which is also not bad because the White collar populations worked just as hard if not harder. As it had said in Blue Collar Brilliance Rosie had to constantly be moving and working on something as a waitress because there were so many people who would be ordering and she could not rest up for a minute. That is the constant rush they are always going through. Rosie had times where she was trying to write orders down while asking questions about the same orders. She had times where she would come out with all the food stretched out across both her arms. Labor work can put a lot on a body and mind. So just because a person does not have the intelligence they would gain from going to college does not mean they are in any way inferior to the
