The basic soccer fundamentals are a major key to succeeding in the sport. Learning how to receive a ball, or passing and shooting the correct way allows someone to play at a higher level. When reaching that higher level, you need a technique called “deep practice.” Deep practice is learning from the mistakes you make and trying to perfect them. In doing this, you learn the basics easier and better through every step. As a method, one should use deep practice when playing soccer because it will help you learn the game, it will teach you the basics, and it will help you outside of the sport. When playing a sport for the first time you take a while to learn the basics, before going into learning how to do tricks, or understanding the actual game. From watching others play, you may pick up some techniques or key moves. It helps to do everything yourself also, and from asking for assistance, then trying it yourself you get the real experience. Another way of learning the game of soccer is just going out and playing. When you are on the field with other teammates you watch what they do, and once you see them, you try to copy and eventually get the hang of the sport. In project 2, one of the girl’s was practicing a trick. Her trick was called the rainbow, and her task was to place the ball on the ground, and with one of her feet in front of the ball and the other sideways of the ball. With your feet, between the ball, you would lift it up the back of your calf and with the opposite foot, you would kick the ball over your head hitting it on the back of your heel. The whole world comes together for the World Cup, a finals championship tournament for every country's team to compete to see who will be the winner. Even old people enjoy watching this game. According to Dictionary.com, soccer is defined as a 'form of football played between two teams of 11 players, in which the ball may be advanced by kicking or by bouncing it off any part of the body, except the arms and hands. However, in the case of the goalkeepers, they may use their hands to catch, carry, throw, or stop the ball.' There are no complex rules. No touching the ball only kicking. You have to get the ball into the goal to score a point. There also half times and out of bounds, but it's simple to understand. The competition is what I enjoy the most. I feel the rush of adrenaline shoot through me as I carry the ball down the field, and the other players trying to take it away from me.

In soccer, there are no time outs and little stoppage of play, so communication with coaches is limited. For a team to play well, each player must know what they need to do on and off the field. The objective of a soccer team is very simple; score and do not let your opponents score. When your team has the ball, every player already knows to help the person who has the possession of the ball to score. As soon as the ball is lost to the opponent,
Have you ever played soccer? I bet you did when you were little or possibly still do. Over 40% of Americans played it when they were little and a lot still play today. If you played it when you were little and want to learn more, than you are in the right place! Soccer started way back before 1365 we know that because in 1365 King Edward the third banned it because of the violence and indulgence.

Soccer positioning makes the biggest difference in the game. If each player plays a position they are good at it changes the whole game. If they play the wrong position or are trying to work with someone playing the wrong position it can ruin the entire game. There are eleven positions but every one of them has their own job to get done to help the team. Not one person alive plays just alike. The goalkeeper is simply known as the guy with gloves who keeps the opponents from scoring. He has a special position because only he can play the ball with his hands. The goalies main roles are saving, clearing, directing the defense, and distributing the ball. Saving is the act of preventing the ball from entering the net while clearing means keeping

First of all, you must take control of the ball and decide what to do with it. You only have two options. You either carry the ball on your own trying to score for your team or you pass the ball and move to get back the ball. Second of all, you need to use the inside of your foot to be more accurate. With you knowing what part of your foot use, choose the person you are passing the ball to. To choose who are you passing the ball to, make sure your teammate is open, that there are none of the opposite players near your teammate, and that your team will make a smart play to score. If an opposing player is near, there is an immense probability for the other team to intercept the ball. Along with that, the other team might score against
While playing soccer through the years, I have learned the importance of being a team player, a leader, and to think outside the box.
Soccer has proven to be a notable sport throughout the years starting with its unique history. Soccer began all over the world tracing back thousands of years. The Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Ancient Greek, Persian, Vikings, as well as other nationalities all played a form of the game soccer. In China and Rome, games that were similar to soccer were played around 200 B.C. (Helmer and Owens, 5).
