Running and rushing, walking and waltzing, these shoes are a success for many reasons. The names of these shoes are sneakers . Sneakers has been a popular choice of footwear for many people. In fact, ancient civilizations such as the Mayans created their own version of the shoes(History 54).The sneakers have been popular throughout the years. Sneakers are popular among people because variations are present, anyone could wear them and their uses are abundant.
In today’s world no one dresses exactly the same. Some people might like more of a sporty style than others. Sneakers have many variations that one could choose from. Some sneakers can be rainbow colored while other sneakers are black. All genders and races are able to wear sneakers. People from all over the world use sneakers as their personal choice of footwear. In fact, people of all classes have the ability . Sneakers were six dollars a pair in eighteen sixty-eight. This meant wealthier people were able to pay for the shoes. The cost of the sneakers also meant that the lower class citizens did not have the money to pay for sneakers. However as time progressed, the sneakers got cheaper.
