Cedar Point vs Six Flags Magic Mountain There are many amusement parks in the world, but only two have been argued to be the best in the world. The two are Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio and Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. Both parks have received many positive reviews for as long as they've been open. Magic Mountain holds the most amount of roller coasters in one park. 19 roller coasters cover the entire park, including X2, Goliath, Twisted Colossus, and Superman Escape from Krypton. The park is open year round, which gives families more opportunities to make it. Six Flags’s flat rides are also pretty thrilling. Lex Luther Drop of Doom is one of the tallest drop towers in the world and its guaranteed to make riders scream. “Six Flags Magic Mountain has dozens of shops, plus a variety of dining options ranging from quick-service to full-service, sit down dining. The park’s attractions are in ten themed areas, including Bugs Bunny World, Baja Ridge, and Colossus County Fair” (“Six Flags Magic Mountain”). Magic Mountain contains some consequences that the park brings. The park is very popular, which causes long lines and very crowded areas. The ride operations are very slow. Some rides dispatch trains every five minutes, which is ridiculous! On top of that, the bigger rides, including Full Throttle, break down a lot, which also causes long lines. The park really focuses on their roller coasters. They need to focus on the children’s areas of the park since they don't have a lot in the park today. Six Flags Magic Mountain is still a thrilling park and it should be on your bucket
Wisconsin Dells was better than Six Flags because my family stayed longer. We were in Wisconsin Dells for four days, but we were only at Six Flags for two days. Because we were in the Dells longer, my family was able to create more memories. Six Flags may have had more attractions inside the park itself, but I felt rushed and did not enjoy my time there as much. The length of time my family spent in Wisconsin also gave us the ability to experience the numerous attractions found outside of the park.
Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio boasts a rich history plus all around record-breaking modern roller coasters. Cedar Point first opened publically in 1870 as a beach house on the sandy shores where locals went to cool off and enjoy the refreshing waters of Lake Erie. Geographically, Cedar Point is a unique peninsula that is almost 8 miles in length. It has a foundation of rock and clay.
Cedar Fair Entertainment is one of the top amusement parks in the world. Their main office is located in Sandusky, Ohio. Cedar Fair owns and operates 11 amusement parks, six outdoor water parks, one indoor water park as well as five hotels (Cedar Fair, 2013). One of the amusement parks is known by the name of Kings Dominion and it is located in Doswell, Virginia. The Kings Dominion Park caters to young adults and has a huge water park that is called WaterWorks.
It was the summer of 2012 and my family was taking another trip to Six Flags Great America. Earlier that summer we went just for me to be disappointed. At the time I wasn’t 54 inches yet and couldn’t ride any of the rides that I wanted to because they were the most popular at the amusement park. But, I hit a growth spurt between trips and we planned to ride all of the big rollercoasters. The one that I was most terrified of at the time was Raging Bull, one of the tallest, fastest, and longest steel coasters in the US. As we started to wait in line for the ride I was shaking with both anticipation and fear and began to rethink my idea to ride the rollercoaster. I decided to stay in line and see what many people thought was a great coaster.
Traveling to an amusement park is a family’s finest way to bond, but is it worth the time and drive to attend just any amusement park? This essay will compare and contrast Six Flags San Antonio, SeaWorld San Antonio, and Disney World Florida from price range, food, and the variety of rides.
Whenever considering what amusement park you would like to attend to, you look for the one with the best rides, atmosphere, admission. Carowinds is a better amusement park than The Pavilion when considering types of rides, atmosphere, and cost of admission.
The second one is Gold Striker, one of the favorite’s roller coaster for kids. This roller coaster is tallest and fastest wooden in Northern California; Gold Striker stands 108.2 Feet High and travels 53.7 MPH (Great America). So many people want to try Gold Striker because of its sheer height, not to mention the fact that the ride spanned almost the entire park. To go that fast for so long seemed so thrilling to people. It's been by far the most fun amusement park ride people have ever been on. The last one is Superman roller coaster, one of the favorite’s roller coaster for kids and adults. It over-sized strength, mega speed, and pretty much at the top of his class when it comes to flying (Six Flags). where as most rides have you buckled to seat and have you rigidly set in place, the Superman has you riding with your hands out front and your feet behind you, like a superhero flying through the air. People are really enjoying riding the Superman. On a lot of roller coasters, it seems like your eyes spend the majority of the time looking at the seats in front of you. Universal Studios Orlando, some say that it is the best amusement park in the world with some of the best rides in the world. It has some great restaurants where you can go to eat after a very long day at the park and relax. It has has more amazing things too that you will read about in this review.
Florida is home to the world's most famous park - Disneyworld. This magical world of Mickey located in Orlando continues to attract the most visitors than any other amusement park in the country. Inside you can amuse yourself and the family with 4 theme parks which consist of Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. Nathanael was 11 when he went to his first roller coaster, California Screamin’ in Disneyland. Nathanael did not want to go one it because he was afraid of heights, and California Screamin’ is one of the tallest rides in Disneyland. A roller coaster is a thrill ride found in amusement and theme parks. Their history dates back to the 16th century. It all started in Russia, with long, steep wooden slides covered in ice. The idea then traveled to France. Since the warmer climate melted the ice, waxed slides were created instead, eventually adding wheels to the system. The first roller coaster in which the train was attached to the track was in France in 1817, the Russess a Belleville. The first attempt at a loop-the loop was also made in France in the 1850s. It was called the Centrifuge Railway. However, government officials quickly diminished the idea when the first accident occurred. Inventors since then have continued to capitalize on people’s love of a great thrill, always trying to make them bigger, faster and scarier!

Universal Studios is the most electrifying place to take your friends and family. In the summer my family went on a vacation to Universal Studios, a magical place to visit in the summer. The people are friendly and the weather is nice to go out and walk to the attractions. In Florida there are many attractions and activities that children will love especially, if they like having intriguing adventures. The rides are thrilling, the adventures are dangerously fun, and a lot of things to do with your family before they leave. This trip is the most memorable because there was a lot of adventures and intriguing attractions that were beyond my imagination.
