Hamlet and Lion King

Hamlet and Lion King have a lot of similarities and differences but they have basically the same plot. Even though the Lion King is a cartoon and the characters are animals you can still tell the same thing is going on. In my opinion, these two stories are really interesting and will have you dying to know what happens next. In this essay I will be talking about the story Hamlet, the Lion King and comparing/contrasting.
First off, Hamlet is a story about a prince and his father just died. He was very upset about it and it made it worse when his uncle became king and his mother married him. His father’s ghost came to Hamlet and told him that the new king killed him. Written by shakespeare, quoted by Horatio, “In the dead vast and middle of the night been thus encount’ red. A figure like your father, armed at point exactly, cap-a-pe, appears before them
A big similarity is the father died in both stories. Hamlet pretended to be crazy but Simba ran away for a while. In both stories the killer was the uncle and that's a big similarity. The story Lion King started when Simba was born but Hamlet started at the funeral of his father. In the story Hamlet, Hamlet killed Laertes father but in Lion King, Simba never killed anyone's father. The story Lion King is for kids but I still enjoy watching it and Hamlet is more for a mature audience.
In this essay, I talked about the story Hamlet, the story Lion King and I compared/contrasted the two. Hamlet and Lion King have a lot of similarities and differences but they basically have the same plot.
