Judgement and fear leave the people of Salem on the edge of their seat during these horrifying trials. Sooner or later, all the people of Salem become susceptible to witchcraft, although two women stand out among the others. Revenge and guilt drive Abigail Williams, while truth and the right doing lie in the hands of Elizabeth Proctor. While some differences between Elizabeth Proctor and Abigail Williams are evident, the similarities are striking.
