According to nowadays our society is more open-minded about transgender, some countries allow same sex marriage to marry legally, but some countries disagree with this opinion. Hertzberg (2014) has implies that marriage should not be a gender and a gender but between spouse and a spouse. According to this topic, some people who disagree that same sex marriage should not be legalized because of their gender, they said that it reduces the definition of marriage, it’s against the religion, and because of child production. Same sex marriage should be legalized because it's about life of two people which has nothing to do with religious affair. To banned same sex marriage is a kind of discrimination. Furthermore, same sex marriage can increase the rate of adopted children and it can increase financial benefits.
Firstly, the opposing opponent states that according to Messerli (2014), he states that same sex marriage should not be legalized because the definition and respect for the institution of marriage would be weakened. He concludes that the most sacred institution is marriage, it is created for the man and woman. Messerli (2014) explained that marriage is considered to be a bond between two people. According to Psychology Today (2014), the definition of marriage means practice of showing public, authorized, and lasting relationship between two people who love each other, and love is unconditional, it doesn't choose by race, geography, language, religion, and also gender. On the other hand, same sex marriage's prohibition is a form of discrimination because everybody is equal as mentioned by The Declaration of Independence which is claimed that everybody is created to be equal in term of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happines...
