Should Schools have Vending Machines? They can be a great way for students to get a snacks in the day. Recently, in some states, laws were passed that schools should not be allowed to have vending machines. Should this law be passed throughout all states or should schools be allowed to have vending machines?
First, vending machines can be a great way for students to get snacks without being hungry throughout the day. In many schools, the lunches are very late so the students get hungry waiting for lunchtime. A great way for students to get a snack is to stop at a vending machine in between classes. This way, students won't feel as hungry while waiting for lunch. Along with that students claim that they are not being fed enough and that the food tastes horrible. Also, usually all of the snacks in the vending machine are under $2.00 so if students that can't afford a lunch or breakfast can always use the snacks out of the vending machines. As a result, students can fulfill their hunger if they’re snacks are accessible through vending machines close by.Furthermore, if students are hungry and buying snacks in between breaks, that means the machines are going to make money. Now buying a vending machine can be expensive, but after a while of selling the snacks, you will get back the money you spent on the vending machine from the snacks you sell. After that point, you will start making money. Some of the money will then be spent on buying more snacks, But most of it could be spent on the school.
