Have you ever thought about how many children need a home? How many orphanages are filled with children who lack a family? How about the women who have difficulty getting pregnant? There are also many teenage parents who put their child up for adoption due to not being able to give them shelter, food or an education. There are several reasons why children are up for adoption. How I mentioned before, teenage mothers give up their children in adoption in hope they get a good family that cares for them and gives them everything they need. Parents who have low income decide it is best for another family to raise their child as their own. Despite the difficulty giving away their child, they do it to help them. Single parents are the ones that usually put their child up for adoption more. In the United States there is 80.6 % of single mothers. Some of those single mothers have put their child up for adoption because they believe that they cannot raise their kid by their own or do not have anyone’s support. …show more content…

Adoptive parents are able to provide the adopted child their education, shelter, food and the most important is love. All those children need is someone to be there for them. The North American Council on Adoptable Children released a report in 2009 that reported how “Every day that a waiting child remains in foster care, his chances of being adopted decrease.” Orphanages feel wanted and loved once they get adopted and believe they have a purpose in life. Parents who are not able to get pregnant are able to form a family by adopting. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention “about 12% of women 15-44 years of age on the United States have difficulty getting pregnant or carrying a pregnancy.” Those women are able to form a family they have always wanted.
