One of the reasons that kids should play sports are that they will learn important life lessons such as how to cooperate with peers and how to manage time and have high self esteem. Another reason that kids should play competitive sports is that playing sports greatly reduces the risk of obesity in kids, and it motivates kids to eat healthier, so that they can succeed in the sport. The third reason that kids should play competitive sports is that it helps education in two ways. One is that if a kid is good enough at a sport, they can get a scholarship and go to college for free.
