Students Should not be Allowed Cell Phones in Montello Elementary School What are cellphones? Cell phones are one of the most useful technologies discovered in the recent centuries. It’s the easiest way to communicate with each other. They have important issues to our lives. Everyone likes to have to have cell phones. Without cell phones life will be boring. In other words, cell phones had a great impact on our kids. Many parents buy cell phones for their kids and let them have at the schools. They believe they would contact in case of emergency. There is no way any kid can contact as an emergency to have a cellphone in elementary schools. If parents were needed, the school staff will contact to the parents. Every student’s contact information and emergency numbers are put under student’s file. If people believe giving kids cell phones as an emergency contact, it will not work for them. Kids will not focus on learning. They will focus on checking every singles message beeps up. They are so busy with sending messages and watching cartoon videos. According to the school officials, the current rule allows students can have their cell phones turned off in the class which is not a good idea. So schools should ban students having cell phones at all in the class due to the following two reasons: Distraction and Cheating, having cell phones in elementary schools is a distraction. Because students aged between five to ten doesn’t have the potential to control their emotions, the most important thing for the students is to keep track of his lessons. But if students are allowed to have their cell phones turned off inside the classes there is still big chances that every student can have that is whenever the teacher started writing a lesson ... ... middle of paper ... ...dents neglecting education. How there will be temptations to cheat test. How students will cause distraction to the entire class. The school will share parents with all the information regarding cell phones which causes to delay students knowledge to improve. These are clear statements that every parents will hopefully be accepting to stop having cellphones in the class. The school will convince to the parents, for those students who don’t use cell phones at all are better than those who addicted to use. Because some kids spent more time using cellphone and checking messages, following bad friends or unknown friends through social networks than learning. School will set a new rule and ask parents to vote banning cellphones in the class. Secondly, local news will publish delays that cellphones to the front page of the news. For example local news such as sun journal.
