There is a fascinating quote by Les Brown, the American author, which says: "Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss you'll land among the stars." From this, and other similar ones, we can easily deduce that people always have the tendency to try hard for the best things. Accordingly, there are various types of motivations that can drive people to do a certian task, such as their own job. Fame and being known by others is one of the innumerable motives that can cause people to perform well and hard. Truth be told, whether public recognition is the most important factor to mankind to do a certian job or not has generated a lot of controversies lately. In my opinion, it is true that being known by others is the most fascinating factor for most of the people than any other thing such as money. I feel this way for two main reasons, which I will exlpore in the following paragraphs. …show more content…

It is an indisputable fact that we, as 21st-century human beings, are more attracted and fascinated by famous people than any other previous generation, and there are several factors that contribute to this fact. One of the predominant items in this regard is the galloping expansion of the technology and social media. In the past, people have no access to such a wide variety of pictures and videos of famous celebrities, athletes, etc. However, nowadays watiching these kind of things is one of our rudimentry entertainments. As a result, people who see these famous persons everyday tend to think and like the idea of being one of them. Take my country, Iran, as an example. Nowadays, there are many youngs in the Instagram, which is a well-known social media, from my country who pretend to be famous, and they are proud of their large number of followers that they talk about it among their friends.
