The post announces that actor Shemar Moore turns 47. The reason for the media use is obtaining information. Glad to see that God blessed him with another year on Earth. He looks good to be 47. The reason for media use is to pass time. I watched this episode until it was time for me to go to my class. Greg Yates and Carl Rudnick are both doctors who have raped, tortured, and killed women. The episode begins with a description of who Yates’ would kill. The detectives find a 10th body in a local area. After they discover the body, detective Rollins visits Yates in jail to see if he had killed the victim. He tells her he remembers treating a man who needed stitches. There was a woman that needed to get treated, but the man insisted that Yates …show more content…
Carl Rudnick is missing. This episode is intense! Detective Rollins and Sergeant Benson notify Yates that his wife was murdered. The next step for the detectives, is to consider Rudnick’s financial records. There is a possibly that he had stolen four identities: Terry Fish, Ryan Dunn, Ellie Howard, and Jen Brown. Teresa Fish’s apartment is close, so Rollins and Carisi go to her apartment. Rollins takes apart the floor, and notices red hair and dry blood – it’s a match to Teresa Fish. A medical examiner discovers that Susie was indeed pregnant. Rollins visits Yates again, the conversation was hilarious. He knew that Susie was pregnant, because she had a different sense just like Rollins. He proceeds to ask Rollins how far along was she. One transgender, and one male. Three black boys notice a transgender in the park. They decided to tease her. It goes too far until Darius pushes her over a bridge. Avery is the victim’s name, she survived the push. Marcus, Keion, and Darius are questioned separately. Avery is asked to identify all three suspects in which she identifies all accurately. Darius’ consequence could possibly be 3 months in juvenile hall. To apologize, Darius drew pictures. Avery died minutes later from her broken femur, it was caused from the fall. The verdict concludes that Darius is responsible for Avery’s death – second degree of manslaughter and hate crime. He is sentenced to 7 years in jail. I noticed an interesting post about Aaron Hernandez. A possible reason as to why he might have killed himself. According to the post, in the state of Massachusetts laws, if you die during an appeal of a conviction, automatically the original conviction becomes null/ void. This means that he never violated the New England Patriots contract. His daughter is entitled to the remainder of the 15 million dollars he was promised. The reason for the media use is obtaining information. I’m not for sure how accurate this post is, but that’s crazy. If he did that for his daughter, did he fiancée
but he also broke it off. All of their morals are tested and they are all put to the test because none of them really know the truth about what they have done until the inspector brings it out of them. After the inspector goes the family finds out that he was a fake and that no girl had died.
Derek Vinyard is a character in the film American History X. He is a great example of an anti-hero. Before prison, Derek Vinyard character is really unlikeable and he is sickening. He was a true definition of a villain. He is a former neo-Nazi who organizes crimes to destroy families and humiliate people. He even treats his own family with disrespect, such as in a scene where he grabbed his sister by her hair and shoves food down her throat. Later he spent three years in jail for man slaughtering two black men. He shot one and the other, he brutally curb-stomped to death outside his house for trying to steal his truck. In prison, he becomes friendly with a black inmate and was rapped by members of the Aryan Brotherhood. Upon release from prison,
Police determined the disappearance of Susan to be suspicious. She had vanished without notifying co-workers and family, taking no personal
In 1954, Sam Sheppard was accused of allegedly killing his wife, Marilyn. During this time, the media went absolutely wild. The way they obtained their stories was completely unlike any way they had gone about getting stories before. They completely invaded Sheppard's privacy to obtain "good" stories for their papers and television newscasts. Also, more stories were written about the case than any other event that had been covered in the past. Even the way stories were written was different than the usual style of writing used for that time period. Ethics were completely disregarded during the case. Because of this, Sheppard was released from prison, with the reason that the media had influenced the case so that the jury found him guilty based on the news stories. This had never happened before. Due to the unethical practices displayed by the media, the field of journalism instituted practices, which limited the power of the press.
The crime scene was then examined and a list of possible pieces of evidence were recorded down. Including a sketch of the crime scene, Anna Garcia’s house, with the locations of all of the pieces of evidence. All of these items listed help develop a theory about Anna’s death. This theory then helped establish a list of possible suspects. The person of interest list included a number of four individuals and each one had a relation with Anna. The list included (1) Alex Garcia- Anna’s ex-husband. They had an unpleasant divorce the year before and in a result Alex quickly remarried a much younger woman, while Anna remained single. Alex and his newlywed wife are expecting to have a baby soon. Although, Alex may be suffering from a few financial

He was sentenced to twenty years. In Honolulu, a man was beaten to death by a group of teenagers in a public shower because they believed he was gay. They were sentenced to five years in custody. On December 18th 2015 Netflix aired with great popularity a 10 part documentary series called “making a Murderer” The documentary, written by Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demo, present the case of Steven Avery; a convicted murderer exonerated on DNA evidence after serving 18 years for the assault and attempted murder of Penny Beerntsen. The writers present the series in a way that suggest that Avery was framed by the Manitowoc Country police department. and present that the police planted evidence to frame Steven Avery because he had been exonerated from the previous crime. The ethical problem with this as is presented by Kathryn Schulz in The New Yorker, is that the documentary argues their case so passionately that they leave out important
On the morning of July 4, 1954, Marilyn Sheppard was violently beaten in her home in Bay Village, Ohio, on the shore of Lake Erie. She was four months pregnant and had been felled by 35 vicious blows (Quade). Right away Sam Sheppard was accused of being the victim to do this. Sheppard had told investigators that he had been asleep downstairs and was awakened by his wife’s screams. Sheppard said when he went upstairs and entered the room he was knocked unconscious by the intruder. He denied any involvement and described his battle with the killer he described as “bushy-haired” (Linder). After a police investigation, Dr. Sam Sheppard was convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. With the hectic media covering it, they were quick in decision that it was him that committed the murder. This was an unfair trial, ruined a man’s life, and gave him no time for a career.
...ased the brakes until coming to a complete stop. Juan and Glenn, knowing where they were going, went to the door leaving the dad alone to get the money. Upon entering the cabin, Juan asked him for the money. He replied quickly that first he needs to see his daughter. The children came out. There was a sudden movement by Glenn which attracted the attention on him long enough for Marianne’s father to pull out the pistol. He pistol whipped Juan and held the gun towards Rita. Rita suddenly started screaming in Spanish asking where Buck was. They told her he was dead and ordered her to put her hands above her head. He handed the gun to Glenn motioning him to stay here and watch the two as he went for the cops and took the others.
Caren Campano was a 42 year old woman working a decent job, and married to a man 15 years younger than her. Chris, her husband, was a drug addict that did not have steady income. The night she disappeared they had a large argument, and according to Chris, they both left the house in separate directions to cool off. She left on foot, and he left in the truck to a bar. The next morning he called her job asking if she was at work and they said she never showed up. He called and made a missing person’s report. The investigators went to their house and stated the house was in good condition, and did not look like she left. There was no signs of a fight. However, they found a large brown stain that was still wet next to the bed. When they tested it, it was positive for blood, and when they pulled the carpet back, there was an even larger blood stain on the cushioning under the
On May 2, 2012, former NFL player Junior Seau took his own life. This was due to his head trauma, and him not being able to handle his life anymore due to the mental state the head injuries had put him in. The big issue with this is the question as to if the NFL is responsible for his (and others) suicide.

...cy’s life on that fateful night. The man told me something along the lines of “Had we not stopped, Stacy would have lain on the ground for about 5 minutes, woken up, walked back home to Justin, and been beaten even more” Then he told me something that took me a moment to comprehend. “Stacy is pregnant and had been basically drinking herself and the baby to death. Although there is a bright side, Stacy sobered up and confessed to Justin’s abuse and now has a recovery plan and wants to start up a new life.”
