In the United States 4% of shark attacks result in death. Between 2006-2010, there were a total of 179 shark attacks in the U.S. So that means approximately two people die per year. This is no surprise because of how deadly sharks really are. Sharks are one of the strongest animals in the ocean. They are an effective hunter in many ways because of their sense of smell, touch, and teeth. One of the most important/impressive features of a shark is their nose.
