American Journal Of Public Health, 94(7), 1200-1203. This article shows a research about harassment and discrimination towards the young gay associated with their mental health. In the article, first, the authors record gay men from different cities six months incidence about their experience about harassment, discrimination and physical violence. Second, the article draws a table to show that the harassment, discrimination and victimization give lots of stress in their life. The author compares and contrasts the co-relation between the self-esteem and suicidal ideation to verbal harassment, discrimination and physical violence. Finally, the article indicates that our society should implement some policy to protect the gay rights and provide the men safe social settings. The article helps me to write about an interesting and attractive introduction about my third solution. My third solution is "Safe school Anti-violence Documentative Project" which recorded tremendous event about anti-gay harassment and violence. When I put this article’s research at the beginning, the readers will considered more carefully and in detailed. What’s more, this article helps me to give some evidence that harassment and discrimination do harm to gay people which is a fatal blow to their self-esteem. It also illuminate my critiques to the weakness of the third solution, it is not enough to simply record the events. The organization should do more actions in providing safe social settings, not only in the book. The article also lists about factors of successful programs: clear ideas, right goals, specific steps. In conclusion, the article indicates that everyone have their responsibility to reducing the harassment and discrimination.
