Serena Jameka Williams is the Number One tennis player in women’s singles tennis, who was born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on Saturday, September 26th, 1981. She is the champion of seventeen single Grand Slams, and thirteen double Grand Slams alongside her professional tennis playing older sister, Venus. Together, they’re an unbeatable duo. Serena also won four Olympic gold medals, three of them in women’s doubles & one of them in women’s singles. This grand record is shared with her big sister. They are known to have a professional sibling rivalry between them & have faced one another in Grand Slam finals, several times. Like her sister Venus, Serena has been ranked as World Number One in tennis, although she surpasses her older sister winnings-wise. Her earnings total over fifty-million dollars (to be exact, $54,380,151) giving her the respected title of WTA prize money leader & first place among women athletes.
