I believe that every person has the ability to learn how to play an instrument. With enough practice, dedication and the right information, which is easy to asses via the web, you can accomplish almost anything. There are many web sites dedicated to all guitar playing levels. It is just a matter of finding the right one (or ones) for your needs and areas of improvement. Out of most web sites that I researched, there are two that I choose to talk about. These are Guitartricks.com and Cyberfret.com. Both of these websites have very good and extensive information that could keep any guitarist of any level entertained for weeks. One of the websites is also very interactive, meaning that you can post your own music on the web site for others to see and play. The topics range from beginner’s lessons to scales and even reading music!
Both websites use tablature to show their audience different compositions, practice exercises and other user postings. Tablature is a series of six lines which represent the six strings on the guitar. Each line has a specific note which are E, A, D, G, B, and E from the bottom up. Then, numbers are placed on the lines to represent when and where your fingers have to be on the frets. The numbers represent the frets (frets are like keys on a piano) on the guitar and range from one all the way to twenty-two or twenty-four, depending on the guitar that you use (some guitars have twenty two frets and some have twenty-four). A very good aspect of Cyberfret.com is that it uses the treble clef as well in many of its lessons. The treble clef is a more professional and sophisticated way to write music. It is how Beethoven and J.S. Bach kept their countless inventions and masterpieces alive over so many years. Nevertheless, both of the websites focus on tablature in their beginner’s section, as well as tuning and naming all the parts of the guitar. Their content for a beginning audience is excellent and would facilitate anyone’s first understandings of the mechanics of the guitar.
Since every person has their own style of music, the first thing I took into consideration when evaluating Guitartricks.com and Cyberfret.com was their assortment of styles to research.

On account of the voice of the narrator, perception is crucial relative to forming an opinion about Don Quixote and his journey of becoming a knight-errant. The constant opposition of the narrator in relation to Quixote’s goals and actions create a feeling of tension within the audience as the reader becomes perplexed in trying to figure out if Quixote’s journey can really be considered a knight’s errant. Later evidence was found in Ancient Egypt that indicated instruments with marked frets along the neck of a primitive guitar.
Following the American Civil War, the whole nation was forever changed and was the result of many good and bad things. Although it was a very costly war and was So, the Civil War did define us and made us the good and the bad things we are and led to an extremely significant change because slavery was abolished once and for all and African American rights followed many years later, the Federal Government imposed more power over the states, our country was divided for a while, and it left the nation in debt due to the fact that we fought each other.
Many describe Edgar Allan Poe’s life as a mire tragedy that produced a genius. Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19 of 1809 in Boston Massachusetts. Poe was described as a handsome or an attractive man; “Poe, himself, is a very good looking fellow” (Simms qtd. in The Poe Log). His clothing was described as simple and black; “He dressed always in black, and with faultless taste and simplicity” (Weiss). He had pale color skin with a good complexion. His hair color was as dark black as a raven’s wing. When he was three years old his biological parents, David and Elizabeth Poe past away. David and Elizabeth Poe had three children Henry, Edgar, and Rosalie. When his parents died he was adopted by his step mother and father the Allan’s; they were tobacco exporters of London. Poe lived a luxurious childhood, going to good academic schools, even moving with his family to London, and continued his studies at a boarding school. When he was a teenager they moved back to US, because the Allan’s tobacco company was failing. He continued his high school career at local private academies. Music is an important part of people’s lives. Each culture has developed various instruments over the centuries. These instruments were developed to create an enjoyable sound by themselves and to accompany nature’s instrument, the human voice. As time has progressed, different genres of music have passed through their primes; classical music during the Renaissance, jazz in the early 20th Century, and hard rock and pop in its current prime. In each style of music there are always names associated with their time and sometimes even their instrument. With Bach and Mozart from the Classical Age to Elvis Presley during the classic Rock ‘n Roll Age, each period holds its own outstanding individuals of their time. The recent time period and its popular instruments is no exception. As the Twentieth-Century progressed, so did the popularity of a now commonly recognizable instrument - the guitar. It seems to be an unspoken agreement between composures and consumers of the present that the guitar is almost a required instrument for any song to be popular. This makes the guitar a huge “player” in music so, who have been the biggest “players” of the guitar? There have been diverse guitar players throughout recent history, each with their own style and music genre, but there are a choice few that probably hold the most influence overall on the guitar in: playing style, sound, and music genre. Although there have been many, five guitarists seem to stand above the rest, if only by a little. These five guitarists are: Charlie Christian, Les Paul, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Eddie Van Halen. These five guitarists have been the most influential in the guitar’s playing style and evolution than any other guitarists of history.
Through out history, music has played a big role. It has let people communicate and others release their creative minds. Throughout the life of music, instruments have made it happen. The guitar has become one of the most popular of all instruments. In fact, almost every band heard on the radio has a lead guitar accompanying the vocals. Thanks to the greats like B.B. King, Jimi Hendrix, Andres Segovia, and Eric Clapton the guitar has been made the lead instrument in much of music. With contributions from each one of these legendary players, the guitar is used in a variety of styles; heavy metal to classical.

The phrase and labels that tell the title come from someone deeply impractical. Don Quixote at the age of fifty has not quite had what one would call a wild life, so far. He has never been married and still lives at home. He has however found his calling in life, the profession of knighthood: "he was spurred on by the conviction that the world needed his immediate presence..." (Book 1, Part 2). So the tales begin.

In The Book the story of one of history’s most famous Slaves, Nat Turner, is described by Stephen B. Oates. Nat Turner Became famous for leading a rebellion with his fellow slaves. In that rebellion the fugitive slaves killed without remorse the families that owned them. Because of Nat’s good reputation with whites, the rebellion was never expected and the reason behind it was unknown until Nat confessed to Thomas Gray in 1831. Nat Turner’s violent actions caused uproar in the white community and spurred many convulsive attacks in response.
Although differing cultures like to lay claim to inventing slide guitar it developed by a cross section of nationalities. The American melting pot helped the development as it did with all the roots to major genres of music. The development of slide led to the likes of Robert Johnson, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Son House and many more. Slide guitar is an American phenomena just like Rock and Roll, Jazz, Cajun, Motown, Bluegrass, Country Western and Swing.
Since day one of lessons, I disliked the guitar with a passion. My teacher was old, grumpy, and did not like young children. We did not get off to a promising start, especially after I told him I hated the guitar, which made my instructor even angrier. Guitar lessons were something for which I had no enthusiasm. I wanted to play soccer as much as I could. However, what is a ten year-old supposed to do when his parents promise to punish him for not applying himself to something other than sports. I was a regular child who just wanted to enjoy life. I did not believe in learning something that did not interest me.
