Cultural intelligence also helps to gain better understanding of diverse cultures which enables individuals to work in a compassionate and positive workplace with people from various cultures. A leader requires cultural intelligence to deal with several situations. Cultural intelligence helps to predict the market outcomes, leaders with this traits and qualities can make sure the company’s markets and operations are continuous. The need for collaboration in being able to solve with different business related problems with people from different cultures and countries within a company which prove to benefits the company. However, leaders must build the reality of networks in a world that is becoming more connected, to prevent company becomes flatter. Moreover, trust is very important within a company because employees choose to follow the leader they trust. There are different types of power resources: information, expertise, rewards and punishments, personal qualities, and legitimate authority. Leaders who possess information power tend to have a wide range of skill, knowledge, and the ability to access to specific information. Expertise power is the skills that the group deems valuable, it is trustworthy and credible. Leaders with expertise power has the skills to determine what customers want and need. Rewards and punishments powers refers to the capability to give reward or punish individual for noncompliance. Rewards such as employees get an increase in pay, punishment such as firing them. Personal qualities are the power from a personal traits and qualities of the individual who want to possess similar values and outlook like them.
