Self-Assessments The Riordan Manufacturing Corporation has asked three employees to complete several self-assessments. The employees received questions on job satisfaction, employee engagement, emotional intelligence, affect intensity, decision making skills, and whether they are experiencing negative or positive emotions. The results will help improve working condition, increase job satisfaction, and general attitude within the workplace. The first self-assessment was on job satisfaction. According to Robbins and Judge (2011), job satisfaction is when employees feel good about their works, which are results from an evaluation of its characteristics. Each employee completed an assessment to measure their job satisfaction. The first employee scored a 67; the second employee scored a 72, and the third employee scored a 74. The result of each test shows high job satisfaction. The second self-assessment was on employee engagement.
