Through module four and five I have completed five self -assessments: people skills, anger management, team effectiveness, leadership skills, and management skills. These tests have taught me even more information about myself, and ways to improve my skills to be completely effective. I am working towards a business management degree so getting feedback and tips on topics and situations pertaining to my major, such as negotiations and conflicts, has been a huge gain for me that I use and keep with me throughout my academic and personal life. I have never had an anger management problem or tend to get really mad or angry at someone, so for me this quiz was a great help in finding ways to even reduce the minimal anger I have and how to handle it in the moment. I have scored a 69 on this assessment. On understanding what causes your anger I received a 12/15. On using problem solving skills I scored a 11/15. On using communication skills I received a 15/20. Releasing my anger section I placed a 14/20, and finally, I scored a 17/20 on controlling my anger when I experience it. The anger management assessment had taught me that I have a successful grip on my anger most of the time, and I have a good sense of what causes my anger and what to do when I start to feel signs of anger and trouble (How Good…Anger Management, n.d.). If I keep on working on my problem solving skills too, I will have less stress and anger when a situation comes up that does not work out. I can work on my communication skills too that will aid me in being able to express my emotions and talk about my issues that are bothering me. This will also help in reducing potential anger efficiently. To me leadership is a very big quality of mine that I hold high, so anyway I can improve on this skill is very helpful. I scored an overall 67 on this assessment. On self-confidence I scored a 6/10. On positive attitude and outlook I scored a 7/10. On emotional intelligence I received a 9/10. On providing a compelling vision of the future I placed 7/10. On motivating people to deliver the vision I scored a 9/10. Being a good role model scored a 5/10. Managing performance effectively scored a 8/10. Finally, providing support and stimulation I scored a 16/20. This leadership assessment had taught me that I am heading in the right direction towards becoming a good leader (How Good…Leadership Skills, n.d.). I learned that I need to work on my-self confidence at times and always believe in my self a hundred percent. I should be aware of everything I have already achieved to improve my confidence too. I learned I have a positive attitude and outlook on situations, just like my mom, and try to approach situations realistically. Although at times I may be reserved and not talkative, I am a big motivator towards others and always encourage them to the best of their abilities.
