Accepting and believing in Christianity cost the believers many things in their current life. The world everyone is living in now does not believe in God’s existence or anything related to the subject. As a result, Christians are deem as foolish and avoided by many. The same fate will happens to those who converted to Christianity. In the book Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, the author’s once peaceful life turned upside down when he accepted Christianity.
The author acceptance to Christianity flipped his life upside down. The author, Nabeel Qureshi, is a Muslim all his life. When he was still a little boy, his parents filled his mind and daily life with verses from the Quran and many other beliefs and rules in the Islam religion. He remembers all the verses and other facts that he need to know about Islam; he even tried to convince his friends about how corrupted the Bible was at a young age. Being from the same Asian culture, I could understand how important family and ethical rules meant for him. In his situation, his family and ultimate believe were the price he had to pay. I really care about family along with the rules and Vietnamese traditions. Preparing to abandon all of that for God, who is someone I did not know or see, will be just as challenging. If my own family turns against me and my cornerstone believe is prove completely false with solid evidences, I would be devastated and depressed. But in the end, regardless of situations, God is the only one that is important. Even if I have to turn against my parents or I have abandon what I had believed my entire life, I would choose God above all else. The choice is hard, but the reward later on in life is
