There are a lot of safety rules being implemented nowadays and we neglect them. These rules were made for us to know what is right from wrong and to make sure we are safe. But we always disobey and disregard them, because most of them are constraining. It is understandable that rules naturally remove the feeling of freedom, but at the moment a person's life is more important. There is one safety rule most people don't follow every day and this could mean life or death. People forget or even avoid strapping their seatbelts on.
An average of 5/10 drivers worldwide don't wear their seat belts, most of these drivers are teenagers. Another 50 percent of car accidents involving teenagers were found to be not wearing their seat belts. The use of the seat belt is no longer associated with being a good driver but rather with being a safe driver. Do they even understand how dangerous this is? …show more content…

There is a certain feeling of freedom you get in the car seat when you don't have the seat belt on. People who do not have it on could move all they want, they could grab their favorite CD's faster and more comfortably, they could look behind easily and they can even stick out their entire upper torso out the passenger window. It is obvious that without the seat belt on life would be much more easier and driving would be a lot more fun. The only thing people don't understand is that would they still be here if there was an accident and they did not have their seat belt
