This article will show how a man’s life was changed from grumpy and miserable to nice and jolly,and luckily it was in time for christmas.In a Christmas Carol Dickens shows that our business should be to be charitable(it means nice) through how Scrooge changes throughout the novel.Scrooge doesn’t understand the meaning of business he thinks it is to have money but his idea of business will be changed. Scrooge’s definition of man’s “business” in Stave I is your supposed to be successful and make money and only care of yourself.In the book while Scrooge’s nephew was talking to hi nephew said to him¨What reason have you to be morose your rich enough.¨(5)This shows that he wants to be rich rather then show love and be mean.As you can see Dickens
