We need to research and solve the concussion problem for many reasons. Concussions are caused when the brain is moved around inside of a persons head, and collides the inner walls of their skull. As well as a concussion, this can result in bruising of the brain, torn blood vessels, and injured nerves. Most concussions result in a change or alteration of consciousness of some sort, however a loss of consciousness is not required for a concussion to be diagnosed. There are two kinds of concussions, simple concussions and complex concussions. A person who has a simple concussion typically experiences symptoms that improve within 7-10 days. A person who has a complex concussion typically experiences symptoms that last substantially longer than 7-10 days. Some concussion symptoms are headache, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and noise, difficulty remembering or concentrating, and trouble falling asleep. It is not safe for students to be in an environment where concussions can occur, as they harm the students both physically and mentally.
If this problem goes unfixed many things will happen. Students will continue to get concussions in classes like physical education, and are also at risk of getting concussions in extracurricular activities such as soccer, basketball, football, lacrosse, and baseball. As a result of a concussion, students are required to stay at home until they are completely healed, which could take from seven days to multiple months. This affects not only what they learn, but their ability to learn.
Our community tries to make the risk of attaining a concussion low. We have trucks that salt the roads to prevent cars from getting in crashes and people from falling when they cross the street. Also, schools have ...

Some people feel the same way about cyberbullying as the do about regular bullying, but others feel differently about the two. Either way, the technology problem needs to be solved, not only in our community, but across the nation.
One way that other schools are dealing with these problems is through “Digital Citizenship.” Digital Citizenship is a concept that helps teachers, parents, and administrators understand what students and children should know in order to use technology safely. This helps lessen cyberbullying and teaches students what to do and what not to do while online in school, or at home. Other schools also block inappropriate websites on school computers, therefore making internet usage safer.
