In recent years, the number of Saudi students who have gone to study abroad for purposes of higher education has increased. Students, especially females, who want to continue higher education, face some problems that stand in the way of their education. A study carried out by Lasoda & Awotedu (2014, 103) found that, ''having to study poses challenges for women due to their family responsibilities and several challenges arise when individuals tend to negotiate the role of university students with their role inside of marriage and the family''. However, involvement of women in continuing higher education is a recent development (Egenti & Omoruyi, 2011). The majority of students in higher education programs are married, a status that may have benefits. Thomas, et al (2012, p.1) found that, many international studies conducted on marital status have indicated that most married undergraduate students perform better in academics than their unmarried classmates. This alludes that socio-cultural factors, such as relationships and having children, have an effect on students’ performance in education.
This study will examine some problems that face married female Saudi college students in Ireland. Mitrushi (2009) suggests that, wives join their husbands in order to give their husbands emotional support and to reduce the cost and burden of long distance communication. In a more recent study, it was established that, marriage and child bearing should be postponed until one finishes university education because combining family roles and schoolwork is very stressful (Forster & Offei-Ansah, 2012, p.198). The greater percentage of married female students face many difficulties such as balancing the little time they have to that of taking care of their children, attending to the needs of their husbands, and attending to their academic studies.
Conclusion
This study will attempt to investigate the problems being encountered by married Saudi Arabian female students studying in DIFC and the impacts of having children among students as presented in the literature review. Many studies discovered the problems faced by students in general. However, no previous study has focused on married female students hitherto. This makes this research time worthy and important for future references.

In this paper I will use a multitude of research that shows scholarly evidence on why single sex education is harmful to one’s over all wellbeing and physiological health throughout one’s life. Single sex education is defined, as “the practice of conducting education where male and female students attend separate classes or in separate buildings or schools”(Pinzler, p. 785, 2005). The controversy over single sex education involves aspects such as its effectiveness and social ramifications of binary genders. Supports of single sex education believe that there are fewer distractions because everyone is of the same sex. Supporters also believe single sex education is also seen as a way to break down stereotypes such as women not doing well in the math and science field. They believe that single sex education helps males also break out of typical gender roles such as hyper masculinity. However, proponents believe separating girls and boys makes little to no difference in their academic achievement and is actually more harmful to your identity.

Education has been the hurdle keeping women from gaining equality in society, by separating them from their male counterparts. Women who sought higher education were considered, heathens and the most disgusting beings that would perish. Without education to empower them, women were stripped of their dignity and rights by their husbands and other men of the community. College is a new setting for most students, especially the ones no longer living at home. The transition can be easy and worry-free, or a challenging and stressful time. As student, academics is the reason why we are in school; we are aiming to get educated and to learn. Family relationships vary from student to student depending on how close the family is. My immediate family and extended family have such a close bond that when I am needed at home, I drop everything for them. Social relationships are smaller support systems individuals can count on. Finances all come down to economic status and a person’s unique financial aid package. Daily hassles range from what I should wear today to not having enough time in a day.
The roles for parents of a one-career family are different, especially that of stay at home mothers. Mothers are responsible for caring for the children and most household duties, while the husband’s main priority is making an income to support the family. Many mothers find it less stressful and are glad to be able to stay home to care for their children and household, since many of these responsibilities ultimately fall on mothers, many husbands are happy to not have the pressures of doing household
This paper explores and distinguishes different marriage practices across the globe. My goal is for the reader to be able to analyze each culture, and their customs, and be able to distinguish differences between the two. I have compiled a plethora of information from the provided resources. I met the limited requirements by using three of the sixteen provided for my use. I used the three sources to gain further knowledge about the subject at hand. Two of the three articles were used to compare different cultural marriage practices, whilst the third was used to differentiate the two, and show why I think diversity is vital in modern globalization.
As large numbers of married couples work outside the home and have parenting responsibilities, their multiple roles have grown. Therefore, the combination of work and family roles generates a spillover of stress in these two areas. Balancing work and family is both a female and male issue. The demands of work pull them away from family intimacy, while the demands of family pull them in. Either extreme can be problematic for individuals and their intimate relationships.
In my family, it was not an option for an unmarried woman to live outside of her parents’ household so I applied to schools within a commutable distance from my mother 's home. After two months of commuting to Salem College, a Muslim woman from our Pakistani community asked my mother, "Why should we limit our children because of our own traditions?
