“Dreams do come true with determination and faith.” This is the quote that best describe this movie. I admire the dedication and determination of the main character, Santiago Muñez. He worked hard to earn money, so he can pursue his dream to become a football player. There is this scenario that Santiago hides his money on his shoes. It reminds me of a game show I watched. The player has a coin inside her shoes. She said that it is her lucky charm. I felt sad for Santiago because his father stolen his money. Thank God, he has a good grandmother who sold her jewelry to buy ticket for Santiago. I remember my grandmother who will set aside her needs and prioritize ours. This movie shows and considers second chance. When Santiago completely messes up his first trial they still give him a chance. He owes it to Glen who convinces the manager that Santiago was nervous and jetlagged. I got disappointed to Santiago because he lied about his medical test. But I understand his side, who would get an athlete with an asthma condition? Despite of challenges, Santiago Munez makes it to the top. He takes the final free kick and their team won.
