A speck of dust: a mere component in our lives, most of the time, we don’t even consider it existent regardless of how dust is probably the most common of our non-living companions. Or rather the dust is more faithful to its enemy’s enemy, pollen. Both work together to cause the allergies we curse every second. Not that everyone in San Ramon has allergies, but an excessive amount of people do. According to the AAFA, or Allergy Foundation of America, areas surrounding San Jose, San Francisco, Stockton, and Modesto have high pollen counts and are part of the hundred worst places to live with allergies. Envision this as a four-way Venn diagram, in which all four areas surrounding the city overlap in one area. San Ramon, along with several other cities, is in this area, and we can see the result right in front of us: almost 75% of the people are suffering from spring allergies, hay fever, and many more.
