The San Jose Sharks have been a team in the NHL (National Hockey League) since 1991. They were the first franchise to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have won the division title for their team seven times throughout the years.
They had a lot of success in their early years. When they had gotten a new coach, Kevin Constantine, the Sharks had pulled off the biggest turnaround in NHL history. They had finished the season with a 33-35-16 record.

He has a total of 510 goals 574 assists which equals out to 1,082 points in his San Jose career. Patrick is 37 years old and still an amazing player for the sharks. Although he is reaching the age where most NHL players would stop playing.
Most players stop playing at around age 40-44 depending on health. Patrick has been thinking about what he will do after his hockey career and he is gonna try and be a coach for the sharks. He will get paid a little more than what he did when he played. The Sharks are a NHL team that tend to pay about the same as normal teams do.
The San Jose Sharks have an annual salary for the whole team and it has been decreasing every few years. This is due to because of the lack of fans and the team is losing popularity. The Sharks finished their 2016-2017 season not to hot. The sharks made it to the play off but lost in the first round (2-4) to the Edmonton Oilers. Sidney Crosby is a hockey player. He plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Sidney Crosby is also known as the face of the NHL. Sidney Crosby was the first overall pick in the 2005 draft. He has played for the penguins since 2005 to this present day. The position he plays in hockey is that he is a center. Sidney was picked as the captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2007 to 2008 season. He is still currently the captain for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I picked Sidney Crosby because he is a talented at playing hockey.
Fortunately for the NHL, they had/ have the Chicago Blackhawks, the Franchise to bring hockey back. The Chicago Blackhawks started the 2012-2013 series with a 24 point streak, meaning that they went 24 games with at least 1 point gained in each game.
