For the product itself, this is a pretty affordable cost. Considering what you get when you buy Samsung Gear VR as far as apps and entertainment. This seems to be fairly reasonable. Most buyers did not have anything bad to say about the cost of this item. Samsung did not forget to include some fun games, apps, and videos that you can use with this product. Once you download the Oculus software onto your phone, you will have the option to use several different apps and watch some videos. These will be located in the Oculus store, which of course offers free apps along with some you will have to pay for. Once again Samsung did not disappoint, they could have easily provided generic, boring games and videos, but instead, they gave us some pretty good ones. With games including Titan of Space, which will take you on an amazing space adventure, the games seem to be very enjoyable with pretty decent graphics. The quality of most of the apps and videos seem to be good enough to enjoy. While Samsung is sure to come out with high quality graphics in the future, for now we can enjoy what we are given. The Samsung Gear VR fits around you head by an elastic band which is pretty comfortable and feels secure. It is lightweight enough to not drag your head down while you are trying to play a game. Plus, the foam banding around the eye piece improves the quality and comfort. So It is easier to enjoy, they have added some controls on the side
In the near future, Xbox One will be incorporating the Oculus Rift, a virtual reality device that goes over the head and provides a first-person visual display and headphones for an immersive experience, into their features and gameplay.

MPC is currently partnering with Samsung to contribute to Warner Bros' Suicide Squad virtual reality project. Suicide Squad, a DC villain movie to hit theaters next week, is allowing fans who own VR headgear to get a closer look into the anti-heroes schemes. Once the headset is in place and running, users will be able to view certain scenes of the movie in 360 degree third person perspective, but will also have the option to get inside the characters' heads in a first-person viewing function.
On the big wide world of the Web, there are many positive things written about this particular supplement. Many of the articles it seems are from people who are pushing a silica product.
Augmented Reality (AR) is a real time direct or indirect view of the physical real world that is enhanced or augmented with computer generated information. AR is both interactive and registered in 3D, combining real and virtual objects. AR enhances a user’s perception of the real world and the way they interact with it. The augmented Reality’s main purpose is simplifying the user’s life, by bringing virtual information to their immediate surroundings through an indirect view of the real-world environment. Although augmented reality is like Virtual reality (VR), AR is an enhanced view of the real world, where VR is a pure virtual environment.
The Q-Ray website uses personal testimonies for it’s sources. While many consumers appreciate previous customer’s opinions on the product, it does not prove its scientific merit. All scientific experiments should be peer-reviewed by highly qualified professionals. The Q-Ray offers reviews from consumers, and also claims that certain high ranking celebrities have also bought the product. This makes the whole reviewing system sensationalized because many people will buy products solely based on a celebrity endorsement. Scientific research should always, only be factual, and not
VR is extremely useful for training solders in order to prepare for combat missions or other potentially dangerous scenarios as this can help them learn how to behave when on the battlefield. VR enables them to do so without immersing themselves into a real life situation before they are fully ready, this removes any risk of injury of fatalities. For example
So what are other things VR is being used for today? Well according to the article titled “Beyond Gaming: 10 Other Fascinating Uses for Virtual-Reality Tech” By Knvul Sheikh ( a staff writer for livescience.com) there are a heedful of other things that are being done with VR. So let’s go over some of them. Well one of the things that Sheikh talks about is Space and how astronauts have been using VR. One of the things that they are doing is that they are using VR technology to control robots on Mars. They also added a Virtuix Omni treadmill to their VR setup and now researchers are able to simulate a walk on Mars to prepare astronauts for a potential human landing. (Sheikh,
The term Virtual Reality (VR) is used by many different people with many meanings. There are some people to whom VR is a specific collection of technologies, that is a Head Mounted Display, Glove Input Device and Audio. Some other people stretch the term to include conventional books, movies or pure fantasy and imagination. However, for purposes of this research, we restrict VR to computer mediated systems. We would define Virtual Reality as a way for humans to visualize, manipulate and interact with computers and extremely complex data.
For the most part, virtual reality is thought of as a form of immersive gaming for pure entertainment. Hardly anyone thinks of virtual reality gaming as an instrument to solve some of life’s most stressful problems, yet, this is exactly how this technology is being used. Virtual reality worlds are being created with everything the real world has (sometimes, offering even more), yet at times, gamers are feeling less stressed, more connected, more confident and even happier in these worlds than the real one. Is virtual reality becoming better than reality? It’s important that we understand that virtual reality is still young and it isn’t perfect, and there are many who question the negative psychological and physical effects of long term use, and some researchers even suggest that it might do more overall harm than good. This essay will look at how virtual reality is being used by the public and the current potential shortcomings of this technology.
Virtual reality is a new exploration in science and technology using advanced and complex mechanics. Virtual reality allows for users to go far beyond simply looking at a computer screen. Instead, the user puts on a special suit or gloves equipped with fiber-optic sensors. These fiber-optic sensors are able to interpret body positions. The user also wears special goggles that have video screens and audio attachments. This equipment allows for the user's complete immersion into a 3-D, computer generated, model of reality (Carr 37). The use of a two-way data transfer is what enables this interaction with an alternate reality to occur. Fiber-optic and electronic cables are attached to the virtual reality equipment in order to record the user's movements (Newquist 93). These cables then send this information, called motion data, to workstations which modifies the graphics in the model. The new information is then sent back to the users headset, displaying a graphic and audio world that is time with his or her movements. It is because of this cabling process that the action/reaction information is continually updated (93).
The whole in Chapter 2 is a critical literature review. In this chapter, it discussed on the VR and types of VR. In addition, it also discussed on the AR area include components, display, issues, definition, differential VR and VR. This also covered that cognitive development theory, learning theory, and learing style. All reviews are followed with the implication for each topic to this study.
The ethics and morals of using virtual reality with medicine have many faces. Ethics is defined as the way we should act towards others; also the justification of right and wrong, in this case a set rules or expectations that are set forth in the medical profession.
To my mind after today’s standards - 3D and 4K- movies are going to come to a new level of entertainment. I am not talking about higher resolutions or better surround sound, but about blurring the line between the physical and the digital world. In other words, the move from watching a movie to being part of a movie. I might be wrong but who would not like to play his favorite character in a movie, interact with other characters and affect the movie’s outcome? Wireless bodysuits will make the audience feel, what their characters fee...
Virtual Reality, aka VR, is an emerging technology that has yet to become mainstream like the smartphone or tablet. Even now when you ask someone about VR, chances are they will not seem too interested, but if it is someone who has already used it then they will show real excitement. VR is something that has to be experienced in order to realize its full potential.
