I completed a career discovery for three different type of jobs that I’m interested in based off my goals. I started off by searching in (glassdoor.com), it has a variety of jobs that you could apply for and gives you details and people’s review’s about the career choice you need and want. Certified nursing assistant would be the beginning of my career and for me to follow into that path of the healthcare industry. Next would be focusing only in my afternoon (GED) classes so I can obtain my diploma and start off on my career path into college. It would all be in the same kind of field so it would work smoothly in my path to success.

The Nursing occupation has a wide variety of options for a career that requires additional training and education. There are several routes I can decide to take so I can become a Registered Nurse. Earning a diploma through a hospital by working for them, an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) through a community college or a bachelor’s degree through a College or University. By the time I have obtained a job with Horizon Home Care as a CNA full time to be able to receive income weekly. Horizon Home Care has a variety of opportunities from CNA to RN. The salary pay is $26.00 hourly or more depending on career degree. The first two options take around two to three years to complete. By actually obtaining my certification in the CNA field, I’m learning and having experiences towards my career path. While the diploma for associate 's degree take less time to complete, Registered Nurses with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) take about a four year period.
