Many people don’t know how incredibly important this job is. Anesthesiology is a unique job; therefore, many people should do it. An anesthesiologist takes many years of college to get a certain degree to even be able to do this professionally, and that does not include the hours of experience you need to have prior to the degree. A brief description of an anesthesiologist would be they have to monitor your body during a surgery. They monitor the amount of anesthesia that goes into your body to keep you healthy but to also make sure you are not going to wake up during the surgical performance. When a woman goes into labor, they give the epidural so she doesn’t feel pain while giving birth. It is crucial that the shot they give her goes into the exact spot; consequently, she will be paralyzed or feel everything while giving birth. Anesthesiology is a very tough profession to master; however, it will be worth it.
Anesthesiologists watch the patient’s heart rate, body temperature, blood pressure, and breathing. If the patient shows any signs of waking up or becoming aware of their surroundings, then the doctor will adjust prudently the amount of anesthetics going into the person’s body (“Physicians” para. 21). They help the patient become better, so they adjust the amount of anesthetics in the patient’s body (“Anesthesiologist Information” para. 3). They relieve pain and sickness or nausea that the patient has caused from surgery (“Physicians” para. 21). Anesthesiologists help remove pain by reducing or increasing the amount of anesthetics entering their body (“Anesthesiologist” What’s para. 3). Anesthesiologist need to be organized because they write down who, how much, and when the anesthesia was injected (“Anesthesiologist” What’...

Many people do not know how serious this occupation is, but it can also be very easy to enjoy. Anesthesiology is a very hard profession to master, but eventually, in the future, it will be all worth it in the end. Anesthesiology is a great choice of a profession, and a recommendation is the best choice. Anesthesiology is very tough, but still an enjoyable profession.

Nurses help patients with their physical needs with details, explain the complex steps of medical treatment, communicate with doctors to share patients’ health conditions and proper treatments, and give emotional support to patients in stressful situations. There are certain limitations that nurses have in decision makings because doctors obtain the most power in patients’ medical clinics. However, nurses are more friendly, helpful, and suffering for patients. Lastly, experienced nurses can make a better choice for the patients over young and un-experience
...ortant role in this shortage because if they reconstruct and formulate policies to accept and graduate more students specializing in anesthesiology, it will significantly reduce the shortfall of anesthesiologists. Lastly, the Canadian government needs to recruit more and retain enough anesthesiologists to meet the needs of its population. Instead of the government ignoring the issue, it should see this as an opportunity to dedicate its efforts to construct a good health care system which will result in healthier Canadians. This will not take only the efforts of the government but also the efforts of hospitals, maternity care providers, healthcare and professional liability insurers, consumers, and policymakers. With the use of future-planning in government policies it will mitigate this short-fall of anesthesiologists and prevent it from occurring in the long-run.
The first question I expect to be asked by every interviewer is "why anesthesiology now?" In 2012, after 6 years of post-graduate training, I was thrilled and elated to finally became a board-certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist. Three years later, I am ready to go back to residency. Pediatric hematology/oncology was one of my earliest rotations as a third year medical student and I fell in love with the pathology and, of course, the kids. After that rotation, I, perhaps naively, didn 't give much thought to other specialties and focused solely on pediatrics, going on to complete my pediatrics residency at the University of Michigan, followed by fellowship at the University of Colorado. Now, three years after my transition into post-training practice, I have come to realize the realities of pediatric specialized medicine are not what I expected when I chose this career.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistic’s Employment Projections 2012-2022 released in January 2014, the Registered Nursing workforce is the top occupation in terms of job growth through 2022. Growth will take place for a number of reasons: demand for health care services due to increasing life expectancy; chronic conditions, such as arthritis, dementia, diabetes, and obesity; and the number of individuals who have access to health services.

They must also be able to “stomach” many types of sense triggers. Although they are one of the top paid nursing practices, they have to endure stress throughout their whole career, starting with the educational aspects.

Everyday, people go through surgery and require a specialist that will monitor their surgery as well as give them what they need to be able to persevere the pain, which is exactly what anesthesiologists do. In order for the patients to be able to get into surgery and deal with the agonizing aches after the abscission, anesthesiologists have to give the sufferer the proper treatment before and after the surgery. Overall, anesthesiologists must be highly educated in both medicine and communication, they need to be able to give the patient the right amount of medicine as well as speak with the family of patients and other doctors to inform them all with what will be done during the surgery, and they need to be able to properly assist the surgeons during operations.
Being a surgeon is very demanding physically, mentally, and emotionally. Most surgeons are expected to work long, irregular hours and sometimes overnight (Bureau of Labor Statistics). They are often on-call, which means they need to be available to come into the hospital in case of emergency. Along with the varying hours, surgeons work in sterile environments for long periods of time, sometimes eight or more hours, to treat injury and disease (Occupational Outlook Handbook 457). The job of a surgeon is to treat and remove certain diseases in the human body. There are many different categories that surgeons can specialize in; these include orthopedic surgery, neurological surgery, cardiovascular surgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, and general surgery (457). Depending on the chosen specialty, the surgeon will face different obstacles and scenarios whilst on the job. “As a career, surgery requi...
