Missing Needs of Saint Paul College Everybody loves how they don’t need to pay for college because of FAFSA, will here are some things that makes it even better so we pay less. In college there are many things that student want or expect things from their college. Three criteria that colleges should have and seeing if Saint Paul College have these requirement which are free parking space, cheap school supplies, and a low interest rate on loans. Many students who attends to college including myself would want their college to have free parking space instead of having to pay for the parking space. Also many other college gives their students free parking right as in they don't make their student pay for parking space. The reason why students that are going into colleges would like free parking is that we’re already paying for the classes and tuitions so why do we need to pay more. Another reason why interest rate should be low is because if the interest rate is too high students won’t be able to pay it all off and some students don't even have jobs. And as for paying their school loan most students don’t even pay for their school loan until they graduate from college. As for my last reason why I think the interest rate should be low is because the school should be trying to help their students getting the money they need to buy the things they need. This is why I think Saint Paul should make their interest rate loan low because it will make them worry less about it and they will be able to do the things they needed to do such as paying off the classes with their financial aid couldn’t cover up

Parking on Campus is a Pain New students entering Concordia College are not permitted to have a car on campus. With each new freshman class entering every year, parking represents an issue. Concordia is as of now constrained in its parking on campus and since first year students are not permitted to have cars, the students are confronted with the problem of having no place to park or parking very a long way from their goal. It has been shown that community colleges don't provide many programs to help students in there major and during their college experience. In addition this explains that community college should not be paid for if they don't provide enough resources for the students, they shouldn't be paying for there school if there aren't programs provided to help student be successful in there major because students are not getting enough support and knowledge about their career and how to successfully pursue
The number of complaints relating to Cal State Fullerton’s parking is out of control. Considering the prices CSU Fullerton charges to park at their school, students should be guaranteed a parking space. Students are currently outraged regarding the Cal State Fullerton’s parking conditions. Some students even decide to not attend the school based on the pricing and availability of parking. A school losing an immense number of students only because of the parking situation is insane. Cal State Fullerton should reduce the pricing towards parking for reasons of availability, cost, and profit.
The price of colleges in America; whether it is a four-year school or community college, has been viewed as a major issue to millions of citizens. Numerous people have argued that an education should not cost thousands of dollars. Some have even stated that college in general should be free. Although this may seem like an amazing idea, it could actually have negative effects that people may not have thoroughly considered. As simple as an education may seem, students and parents in America must pay their way through college; for nothing is free in life. In order to keep this country functioning in a proper way, community colleges in America should not be free.
The main reasons that tuition should be lowered are that students need an easier and a cheaper access to higher education, so that children who are born into poverty have a chance to make a better life for themselves, and so that the amount of student debt in America is decreased. Currently, students do not have a simple or inexpensive access to higher education due to the increasing cost of tuition and the decreasing amount of scholarships being awarded. Aside from tuition, state colleges fund academics mostly by state appropriations.
College does have its good and bad, but the tuition money needs to decrease in both public and private schools. College should be the best time of everybody’s life, but money shouldn’t be a distraction.
Higher education costs have been increasing at a rapid pace, faster than inflation for the economy as a whole, for the past fifty years. It started in the 1960’s when the federal government passed the Higher Education Act to increase the amount of people able to afford and attend college. Regardless of the Unites States Government efforts to increase the affordability of college, federal aid programs have not risen to expectations due to the ever-increasing college prices. To lower the price of college, the government needs to cut back on student financial spending to go only to the lowest income families and create tax incentives for families to start saving up on their own.

With the oscillating price of gas, why add the burden of paying for parking too. When a person pays for something they assume that it will improve their life, but that is not true in the case of college parking. When paying for parking, it becomes a race against time to be the first one at the parking deck. How is that improving life? Every person who drives a car to college has no choose but to park in the parking deck, since it’s the closest and safest place to hold a car. Though having parking included in the tuition will not help with finding a parking spot it will instead ease the need for paying more for a service that cannot accommodate everyone at the moment. Also critics might say that colleges are trying to prove alternatives to parking like online classes and carpooling / biking. In an article written by Inside Higher ED some colleges are using Zip Car short-term rentals, which is car sharing. These solutions can be inconvenient to anyone who needs to drive long distance or on the highway. People who need a car are required to use it to drive to college since not everyone lives near college or can have the convenience of sharing cars or riding bikes. If parking is required to be paid, there should be a purpose for paying it. Since students are the costumers and college is the service. Therefore parking should be free for students and faculty until there is a large reason to pay for it.
Parking on campus needs improving. Students entering the university are allowed to have a car on campus. With every new freshmen class entering parking posses a problem on campus. The campus is already limited in its parking on campus and since freshmen are allowed to have cars, the students before them are faced with the dilemma of how many new freshmen will be bringing a car to school.
It is hard to find parking on campus, especially during rush hours. Both students and professors are encountering trouble for this crisis. As a simple example, the parking lot next to the Sarkeys building is always full. This problem is a continuous, daily hazard. As a student required to maintain a lot of class schedules and activities, I suffer from the parking problem daily and find that others encounter the same. It is true that the university is working on a new parking garage, but during the construction process, there is no alternative way to settle the crisis.
