While taking admission to the undergraduate course, I was conscious about my interest with the communication circuits; the technological advancements and the future scope of this field. One of the best inventions of technology is `Integrated circuit? that never ceases to amaze me. Back then my concentration in communication systems was shared with digital systems which are also a pivotal application of communication science. I have just completed my Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering and wish to do my post graduation in the same discipline.
I passed my senior secondary school with 85%. The competitive spirit within me acted as a catalyst in all my academic successes. I took up Mechanical Engineering in AVN COLLEGE affiliated to prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University My first rapport with the mechanical field in my first semester was with the conventional lathes and the modern flexible manufacturing labs in the Institute aroused my curiosity to learn and delve deeper in to the subject. The varied mechanical engineering courses have implanted a lot of enthusiasm in me. Attending various mechanical workshops held in our college during Technical Festivals has helped me in understanding the practical aspects of Mechanical Engineering.The undergraduate study has given me a comprehensive exposure to a wide spectrum of courses, namely, Design Engineering, Kinematics of Machinery, Engineering Graphics, Finite Element Analysis, Thermodynamics, Mechanics of Solids, Robotics, Computer aided Design/Computer aided Manufacturing, etc.
It would also help me learn global standards in this field, which I consider would be beneficial to make a justified contribution to the field of Mechanical Engineering. I would be honored if given a research or teaching assistantship because in addition to easing the financial burden on me, I’d be able to gain extra knowledge and experience working closely with a highly skilled professor. I look forward to a challenging research oriented career in an industry and I’m confident that if given a chance, I shall strive to live up to the expectations. The aspiration to learn about Electronics seconded by my decent XII std. Scores in science and 89% marks in Math, secured me a position in the Electronics And Telecommunication branch in Nuva College Of Engineering And Technology under the aegis of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. Being in the foundation batch, I learned how to adjust with the scenario and understood what responsibilities we have towards college. My passion for the very field has since grown by many folds with the systematically designed wide array of syllabus of the University. As time passed, these particular hobbies began to turn into a unique passion. This prompted me to choose Electronics and Telecommunications engineering as my major for my undergraduation. After rigorous curriculum training and a series of research and projects carried out in my undergraduation, my eagerness for my passion has intensified. Thus I believe achieving a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in VLSI design from San Diego State University will definitely help me to achieve perfection and hone my existing engineering skills. ( The VLSI research projects ranging from ultra-compact reconfigurable Matrix Processor to on chip performance measurement carried out at San Diego State University are akin to my interest and the electrical engineering department will definitely help me to motivate and make me a part of their team in future research work.)
I learnt the ways in which programming could be used in electronics related concepts, such as microprocessors and embedded systems. So, I decided to pursue a career that would make good use of my programming skills and at the same time improve my knowledge in the electronics field.
