I believe that I deserve a B preferably an A because I always try to do my best in everything in school, because school is important and my future depends on what I do now in school, and the grades I get are very important. When we had class I always took notes, and never been afraid to ask questions when need be. All of my professors told me that I’m a good student and that I’m going to be very s... ... middle of paper ... ...hem and show them that everything is possible and black excellence is real. Some need that motivation and need to see things like this really happen. So I can’t keep telling them to get good grades and do well in school if I’m not demonstrating it to them.
Grand Valley offers many on-campus resources that I plan to utilize to complete these steps. To find out whether or not I like my major I will talk to my advisor more about it and what I need to do to be successful in it, and to perfect my resume I will take it to the career center and have them look it over to make sure I have a everything set up well before I use it in applying for a job. By this next year I want my career path to be almost set in stone and to know whether or not I like my major. I found this class to be a lot of work but with all the information I learned made it
I hope to get certified in the areas in which I have been training for. Getting into college so that I can be successful is the main goal in my life is. I hope to get accepted to a college or university by the end of my senior year. My schedule will be busy but I will hopefully have a future. Grades are one of the most important factors of my high school career.
I ended with two C’s and that is very disappointing for me. Keeping this in mind will allow me to not lose motivation and keep thinking of the positive outcome because motivation is everything! Good concept to remembering motivation quoted by Downing, “…one formula explains much a... ... middle of paper ... ...tivation, master self-management, adopt lifelong learning, and accept personal responsibility as my own. Keeping these all in my mind to will be guaranteed a bright future. Putting my mind to it will help motivate me on my journey to success.
I’ll always have time for myself, so sacrificing some free time now is well worth it. This helps me to be a creator and not the victim about things and keeping up with the self-management strategy. The success strategies that I will use will help my learning style, self-management and self-responsibility. Most people believe success is just having lots of money, cars, and women but I believe success is an individual sport and I have to be ready to play because the outcome of my performance is based on the work I put into it. A second strategy I think is very useful for my college career is to set goals.
It requires steady attention to our actions and determination for wanting to achieve something big. In order to achieve your goal in life, you need to deeply desire the goal that you want. Weak desires bring weak results. You need to have the strong desire to achieve the goal. You have to decide what you want.
But all of this is only possible if I secure good marks in my graduation and for that I am studying really hard. My aim also lies in the fact that I should get a good percentage at the end of my semester. All of the goals are set in a manner to which my dreams can be achieved. All of this is possible only after the self-evaluation test which gave me the result of all my positive and negative aspects of my personality and my working style. However, the utmost aim is to become successful in Human Resource Management and this is only achievable if I continuously grasp and learn from my current working environment.
I need to be sure that I am up to date for all assignments that are due, motivated myself to do well in classes and hope to achieve a passing grade. By being involving myself with asking for help from professors, seeking out for a tutor and possibility managing my time better. This is a learning goal because I often struggled with being unaware of how I am going to do in class and this can help me understand what to do to be successful in college. I will know if I achieved this goal by the grades I will
If I were to get overwhelmed I would only be a few hours away from home and could go back and visit. I was excited about starting college, even though I was not particularly excited about the school I was going to. I was weary about my attendance here but then I looked at bigger picture and really thought about my long-term goal. My friends and my family encouraged me to make the best out of my situation and be grateful for my scholarship. After a well needed self-evaluation I figured I was going to make the best out of every situation.
No matter what people say, she achieved big things in her life. Her only encouragement are those who actually supported her (Ferking). My connection to Ferking's essay is that without the encouragement that my family and friends are giving me, I wouldn't have the motivation to pursue my degree to have a good career. Even if other people ridicule my choice of degree, I won't succumb to their words. If everyone thinks that without struggle, it is easy to obtain their goals that is entirely false.
