The Communist Russian Revolution changed the course of history. In 1917, this revolution affected the country of Russia and the lives within it. I will be telling you about the people who acted as causes of the Russian Revolution. Those people include; Nicholas II (and his wife, Empress Alexandra), Rasputin, Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin. I will make connections between their actions, the outcomes, and how they influenced the Russian Revolution and affected the people of Russia. Nicholas II was the last Russian tsar, inheriting the throne when his father died of an illness. He married a girl named Alexandra, formally known as Princess Alix of Hesse-Darmstadt. Their children were named Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and finally a boy named Alexi. Nicholas II and Alexandra are is known to the world for their oblivious and incompetent reign of Russia from the time of 1894 until 1917, when Nicholas II had no choice but to abdicate.
