As the remaining house guests search for clues and the mysterious villain, they are all caught in a web of trickery and deception. Ten guests are invited by a mysterious man, to stay on the isolated Soldier Island. As soon as the chosen guests arrive, they introduce themselves and explain why they were invited. Ironically, all of the guests were invited to the island for different reasons, and realize they have been deceived into coming to an island. On the first night, the guests gather for dinner.
The SWAT team arrives at the location of the video signal, but it is not the same house that has been shown on the monitors in Jigsaw's lair; the events in the house took place a few hours earlier and were broadcast from tapes. Matthews arrives in the bathroom and is stabbed in the thigh with a hypodermic syringe and knocked unconscious by a person wearing a pig mask. The timer at Jigsaw's lair expires and a safe opens, revealing Daniel inside wearing an oxygen mask. Outside the house, a very badly beaten Jigsaw slowly forms a smile, as he is happy that his master plan has worked perfectly.
Then he went back into the house, dialed 911, said that he was at a murderer’s house, and then sat back. Tony arrived before the police. He saw the note in Jr’s hand, immediately understood, pulled out his gun, and fired, then turned and ran to his car as the faint sound of sirens filled the air. Luckily, an ambulance had also been dispatched. Jr spent the next ten days in the hospital, then he had died of internal bleeding.
The family are having a small party because they are celebrating the engagement of Sheila, Birlings daughter, to Gerald Croft. Gerald is the son of a great man who also owns a factory and Mr. Birling sees this as a chance to get into the big money. The party carries on into a happy mood when suddenly an inspector calls. He tells them of a girl who has killed herself and soon everyone has something to do with this inquiry in one way or another, but did this suicide really happen. My view of the class system as a whole is that it’s pointless and breeds.
Summary In the afternoon of July 2007 Jennifer Hawke-Petit and her daughter Michaela were followed to their home in Cheshire, Connecticut while returning from the store. Unfortunately, the duo caught the eyes of Joshua Komisarjevsky and his partner Steven Hayes. Originally, the two assailants planned to “rob the family”, but unsatisfied with their findings, decided to escalate the situation (“The Family on Sorghum Mill Drive”, hereafter referred to as TFSMD). Finding entry in the unlocked basement doors around 2am, Komisarjevsky silently made his way into the home and found William, the father, asleep on the porch. William was immediately struck by a baseball bat and restrained in the family’s basement at gunpoint (HBO).
The Function of the Inspector in J.B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls J.B Priestly was a British journalist, novelist, playwright and essayist. He was born in 1894 in Bradford and died in 1984. The play "An Inspector Calls" is about a family who, each member without knowing, have participated in a young girl's suicide. Inspector Goole makes every member of the family realise that they have played a part in killing the girl. At the beginning of the play the Birlings and Gerald Croft are having an engagement celebration dinner in the evening.
Talks of police brutality began with Rodney King, who was beaten during an arrest, where video was recording the scene. This gave viewers at home a look at the police department, which gave people a shock to see since this was one of the first recorded instances of police brutality. With the recorded video that showed the beating, King was paid for damages, and two officers were convicted (“Police Brutality”). Another well-known case was the injuring of a baby and her family as they slept. The baby’s name was Bounkham Phonesavanh, 19 months old, who was in his crib during a SWAT raid that was being performed on their home without a warrant.
James (half-asleep & annoyed): This better be important enough to wake me up at 3AM or I swear to God…. Tony (serious): Christians been kidnapped and Roberts in the hospital. This news immediately shook him out of his state of half-sleep. James (shocked): How the hell did this happen?! Tony (serious): It went down a couple of hours ago; the two of em were driving from that big Oscorp meeting when some one attacked their limo and now Rob is unconscious and Christians just vanished.
Comparison of The Attitudes Of Arthur Birling And Sheila Birling From An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley An Inspector Calls by J.B Priestley was first performed in 1945. The play was set in 1912 before the war; it centres on the wealthy Birling family. A visit from the mysterious Inspector Goole, during the celebration of Sheila Birling's and Gerald Croft's engagement, proves to be a horrifying experience for them as they learn that they have all played a part in the suicide of a young girl called Eva Smith. From the start we see that Mr Birling is a hardheaded businessman and seems to look out for only himself and his reputation. In his speech to Gerald and Eric he tells them "a man has to make his own way-has to look after himself -and his family, of course".
What is your problem coming in my house at two-twenty in the morning?” All he could hear were sobs. “Open the door sweetie, what’s wrong?” I opened the door and gave my father a hug. “Sweetie you have to tell me what happened.” “Daddy,” sob “This boy from my school forced himself on top of me.” “Are you sure sweet heart?” He looked down and then he seen the blood “Were going to file a police report.” “No, he told me he would kill me if I told anybody but I’m trusting you.” “Okay sweetie, go take a bath and then go to sleep.” “Okay but daddy I’m, I’m bleeding down there.” “Just take a bath and put on a clean pair of panties.” “Okay” I went into the bathroom and I ran some bath water. I got in and my private began to throb. That was my first time ever having sexual intercourse and I hated it.
