Rosa Parks, born February 4, 1913, died October 24, 2005. Rosa Parks was one of the people that change America to what it is today. Also, she’s one the reasons why there are no more racism around. America today is filled with many different cultures and people, thanks to Rosa Parks. What happen you may ask? Well, Rosa Parks refused to move from here seat in the bus and stand up for herself and her people. she was then arrested for her crime of not moving and letting a white seat in the seat. This created a riot and then more people stood up for Rosa Parks. She made America equal and no more who is able to get the better stuff. She’s known as the “The Lady of the civil rights”.

She wasn’t the only person to stood up at the moment. There were others like her that tried doing the same thing but were unsuccessful. What Rosa had was the ability to stand up for herself more then any other person. She was a secretary of the Montgomery chapter of the NAACP. Rosa also went to Highlander Folk, Tennessee center where she trained for rights and racial equality.

As a little girl, Rosa Parks had to work by farming and helping her mother in any way. It was hard for her as a young girl but she got through it. She was poor and suffering from poor health. When she had to go to school, she’d always walk because the bus didn’t accepted her kind. Only the whites were able to ride the bus and everyone else had to walk. Back then everything was hard for all African Americans because no one respected them. They were treated like trash and like there useless. Rosa Parks had to go through all that as a young girl which had to be hard.

As she grew up rules were changed and added. That’s where then African Americans were able to ride on the bus but ...

...h she’s still might be dead, they still talk about her and what she had done. For that everyone thanks her for her services and what she had done. Rosa Parks is a hero of America. Just for not moving from her seat on the bus, she had created history.

A statue of Rosa Parks was made and the bus where she sat on before her arrest is stored away in a museum where people can see the history.

Many people believe that she did the right thing for standing up for herself. I believe she did a outstanding job and standing up for her people and others that didn’t even like her. Today we all are together and trust each other. Rosa Parks was a citizen and knew she had every right to do what everyone can also do. Even if she was hated by the white for doing such things, they know she did what others couldn’t do. Thank you Rosa Parks for bring all of us together.
