The logistics and transportation industries are involved in the physical movement of persons and goods. logistics specifically refers to the transportation of good, material and/or products. Sometimes in doing so it may include management of freight, storage, inventory and packing. Logistics and transportation encompass a wide range of activities and it also plays a vital role in the growth of the philippine economy. A thought out extreme competition and grows in global trade gives higher value of tr service sector where transportation, communication and storage is a high component. The occupations in the transportation and logistics industry in the philippines represented a broad spectrum, from many self-employed tricycle operation to highly complex jobs like piloting aircraft. Road sectors workers are generally consist of drivers, conductors, operators, tour guides, heavy equipment operators, inspectors, dispatchers, other support staffs, and mechanics. Rail sectors workers are many consist of of train operations, engineering operations, and other support services. Occupations in the port sectors usually provides services for loading and unloading ships, passengers and cargo while those in the shipping sectors refer mainly to jobs onboard commercial water vehicles, namely those on deck, engineering departments and services. jobs in the service departments of international cruise ships are the fastest growing segment in the category of seafarers. Air transportation workers are mainly involved in air service operations, aviation engineering operations, airport terminal services, aure traffic controllership and airport-related support services. In general, transport and logistics activities are characterized by taking responsibility for transporting other people’s lives and goods,and the watchword and guiding principle in the industry is safety. The aviation industry is growing every year, with NextGen and many other programs being implemented by 2020 ("Nextgen," 2014). The new programs will make everything that has to do with aircraft and airport more efficient. All the new programs being implemented will also open up many new jobs. The aviation industry is considered a system of system, there are hundreds of different industries that support and make the aviation industry possible ("Nextgen," 2014).There are many important jobs, but one of the most important careers available in the aviation industry is security. If the security personnel was not doing there job of checking aircraft, airports and passengers it would leave the traveling public in harm’s way. All of the different careers in aviation industry work together to make a safe and efficient way to travel.
Economic growth is the sustain increase in production of goods and services. It is measured by this what we call “GDP” or Gross Domestic Product which is said to be the total of all final goods and services produced in a nation in a year. A nation’s standard of living can only improve if GDP increases. The economic goals in the Philippines are many. The most important include equity, economic growth, more employment opportunities and stability among others. I chose to focus first in our GDP growth. The Government should exert an extra effort in increasing our GDP or Gross Development Product. There are a lot of good outcome if Philippine GDP tend to increase. We’ll stable jobs for the Filipino people, stable level of prices of our basic needs and services in the country without dramatic deflation or inflation and lastly, to sustain growth without large swings in output or consumption. However, before we can achieve these goals. We really need to create new products with high quality standards. Make our products more convincing to attract target consumers. Well, Philippines is rich from natural resources and aside from that we have special soil that has high qualities where we can plant our crops and earn profit from it. The transportation industry is the largest industry in the world. It includes the manufacture and distribution of vehicles, the production and distribution of fuel, and the provision of transportation services. In the 1990s, approximately 11 percent of the U.S. gross domestic product and an estimated 10 percent of all jobs in the United States were related to the transportation industry.
Operators of these carriers are always aware of the safety of their ships, thus, their frequent monitoring of their cargo loading activities to ensure that the welfare of the ship and its crews is always on top of their priorities.
