Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is a must see movie for everyone. It’s one of the best and first multi- ethnics cast modernizes classic fairytale of Cinderella. The old classic version only present with one ethnic group. However, this one is more diverse due to the variety of ethnicity, making the movie unique. It convey different plot that enhance and portray each character’ personality into musical movie with humor and ironic. The movie has a vibrant set, several entertaining musical sequence, richly hued costumes and the finest actors.

The stepsisters wore bright and contrasting color to make himself stand out more from the rest. Their clothing style that they wore were awful and wacky to show the their weird personality that they had. What I like about the character in Cinderella that they gave the stepsisters weird personality to add a little sense of humor in the story. Like how one stepsister who would scratch herself when she get nervous and the other one would giggle and snorts. It was a cracking scene when they dance with the prince and this happen. The classic Cinderella like the Walt Disney Cinderella moral of the story is that people should always fight for what they want by working hard and having a good heart. Likewise, this Cinderella has similar moral but more values. Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella movie indicate that people should work for what they want instead of wishing and dreaming for it. It also tell the audience that people should look for true love rather than a set up marriage that you have no feeling for. Like when the Prince’s King and Queen decided to have a ball for the Prince, when the Prince discover it he was upset and unwillingly attend because he want someone like he will love. The concepts and the lessons of the movie was impressive, it actually give the audience an important life lesson for all. One lesson was when Cinderella’s Godmother came, she told Cinderella that the problem with her and everyone else is that people dream and wishes for what they want instead of doing it. Cinderella show teaches how you can be whatever you want if you dream and imagine.
Overalls, Rodgers & Hammerstein 's Cinderella (1997) is one Cinderella movie that is unforgettable.
