According to Phil Hooker, writer of “online articles about the franchises” excluded “GTA was originally intended to be named Race’n’Chase, until Dan and Sam Houser renamed it Grand Theft Auto in 1995.” Rockstar, the releasing company, first GTA was released in 1997, and since then, there have been thirteen other versions of the game. Every GTA game has a different theme and story. For example, GTA Vice City takes place in Miami Florida, with an 80’s theme and music. GTA has always been rated M for Mature, because of its violence, strong language, and sexual content. Being available to only adult gamers, GTA is still the most popular worldwide action-adventure game.
One of the strengths of GTA is the rich game play; Players can do so much on GTA and never get bored. Players can steal or buy cars to explore the game world and accommodate the large size of the map. Players can also change clothes, set up heist & bank robberies and just about anything you can do in real life. Every character has a smart phone, to contact friends, gain Internet access, and to take pictures. Players can use the Internet to buy homes, properties, businesses, and access the stock market, which allows players to be a stakeholder in business. If players commit crimes or illegal acts, the games law enforcement will respond, which is called a “wanted level.” (Rockstar). If a player is killed, they revive in the hospital, with unlimited lives. Buying buy alcohol and cigarettes makes GTA more realistic. Allowing players to do just about everything people can do in real life is why GTA has become so rich in Game play.

So we get many things in the game. And like Black Ops 2 was a shooting game. It was the #1 game back then. But Fortnite came out and took over all the games. I think the old game back then were better because they look nice and there are a lot of fun.
The larger game rooms are predominantly located in rental business locations and warehouses, with no respect paid to proximity of schools or residential areas. Regardless of location, problems exist with criminal activity and traffic congestion surrounding the areas where the illegal game rooms are located. A large number of persons frequenting the locations come from lower socio-economic groups, and monetary issues can be problematic since the many of the machines are unregulated and may be biased toward the “house”. Whereas the illegality of the game rooms providing payouts is an inherent crime problem, the environment surrounding the game rooms provides significant issues in additional types of criminality.
While Bungie continues to make Halo games, the franchise itself is now overseen and published by a Microsoft-created subdivision called 343 Industries. This sub-division is also in charge of the recently released Halo: Legends anime/CG short-movie compilation, the comic books and all tertiary products, like the upcoming animated television series based on the machinima comedy shorts, Red vs. Blue.
In Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV), you play the role of an Eastern European immigrant who has come to Liberty City to visit his self-proclaimed ‘successful’ cousin, Roman. After making the journey, Niko finds that his cousin is actually stuck in a cycle of debt and struggle and has been lying about his large mansion and beautiful women. After spending some time with Roman, Niko finds that his cousin is being harassed by local loan sharks. Niko must commit illegal activities for the loan sharks in order to eradicate Roman’s debt. As a result, he must enter the underground world of drugs and violence. Soon after, Roman discovers that his girlfriend is cheating on him with Niko’s boss, Vlad, and is heartbroken. When Niko confronts Vlad, he shows no remorse and Niko decides to take revenge on behalf of his cousin. Niko ends up killing Vlad which leads to both Niko and Roman being kidnapped and forced to work for Vlad’s boss. After this episode, Niko reveals to Roman that he did not actually come to Liberty City to visit his cousin; he came to seek vengeance against an army companion who betrayed Niko and left him for dead along with the rest of his company.
Kulling, Matthew. “GTA:Link between violence and video games lacks a smoking gun.”. marquettetribune.org. 15 Nov 2013.
In 1998, the US software industry sold $6.3 billion worth of video games (see Unknown). Not bad for an industry that didn't exist 25 years ago! Yet despite its continued growth, all is not well in the video game industry. School shootings in Littleton, Colorado; Pearl, Mississippi; Paducah, Kentucky; Conyers, Georgia and many other towns have shocked the nation (see Malcolm). Understandably, grieving parents and sympathetic citizens are searching for a cause for this "outbreak" of youth violence. It is natural to assume, "when children, the symbol of innocence, commit the severest of crimes, then something must be going wrong with society." (see Maker)
Also, how the result of violent gaming affects the actions of the children shortly after the finish playing. Overviewing the work of physiological professor Helen Fisher, Sauer concludes that playing a mass variety of games can have different effects on a child. Documented by Sauer, “To the extent that this task is representative of real-world risk taking in a driving context, Fischer et al. found that racing games can have negative effects on traffic safety: increasing risk-taking behavior, risk-promoting cognitions, and positive attitudes toward reckless driving” (Sauer 206). A child does not have to shoot a gun in a game such as Call of Duty or rob a bank in GTA V, the end result is that the child would think these things are accepted in society.
... Grand Theft Auto since my early teens, and games like the original Doom and Duke Nukem back when I was real small, and don?t consider myself influenced by them. I look at games as more of a way to pass time and have fun with what they offer. I think that having people kill simulated people with a controller is far better than having them out on the streets aiming a gun at bystanders. If people do not have the logic to comprehend the right or wrong of situations in games, then I think it says more about the quality of person, not the content of the game.
Most games from 2009 still look better than Call of Duty’s newest installment. CoD has taken no effort in order to improve on anything, which is, again Activision: The Slayer
Games such as Grand Theft Auto are often suggested as a cause for aggressive or risky
In the video game Enter the Matrix, released in 2003, the players take on the role of supporting characters in the film sequel Matrix Reloaded. They play the side stories; those that not appear on screen in the film. The game is inspired by the world that is depicted in the film. Enter the Matrix displays distinct visual parallel between the film and the video game. The overlook of the film and video game is similar and distinguishable because the video game mimics the visual style of the film. It gets players satisfied with their purchase of the game. Playing the game is a different experience for the players because it connects them with the source material. It allows them to be part of the story and to feel to be the character of their franchise. Players are considered spectators too because there are some cinematic cut scenes that are shown in the game which makes them observe and do n...
