One year later their club shows were overcrowded. The Monkees heard and liked them, and requested them to tour with them. But not many Monkees fans liked his lyrics and his style, so they kicked him off the tour. After this he was invited to pop festivals and eventually came out with his first album Are You Experienced? He played The Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock and that is one way he became really famous.
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band, they have been around since the early 1960’s. The band was brought together by Keith Richards and Mick Jagger. Richards and Jagger were friends all throughout their boyhood until their families ended up moving away from each other. After that they went their separate ways until 1960 when they met up with each other at a train station in England. A month after their renewal they started up the band (Kallen17).
Knight introduced Hendrix to Greenwhich Village. This is where all the music was, but that's not all. Marijuana, Cocaine, and pep pills were all introduced to Hendrix and became apart of his daily life, as he was an avid abuser of these drugs. Not long after being in the band the Animals' bassist, Chas Chandler, approached Hendrix and convinced him to move to London. In London, Chandler became Hendrix's manager and helped him form The Hendrix Experience.

Some say it was because he got in trouble with the law.
An example of this is Punk music. Many argue that the birth of punk music came when the then “newly formed Sex Pistols” played their first gig at St Martins College in London. They were reported to have been “attempting to break through in a music scene that had long gone stale from the fallout from the 1960s, the death of glam rock and the tail-end of the pub rock scene” But others say it first began in Detroit in the mid to late '60s. This saw the appearance of the Stooges and the MC5. They were raw, crude and often political, a far cry from their predecessors in Rock and Roll such as Elvis Presley.
