Nowadays, robots have taken a huge part in our technological sites. Only a decade ago it was impossible to predict that robotics is going to be this far. They are giving us a helping hand in many sectors and reduced our work load and at the same time have increased our performance and efficiency. Though robots will continue to grow and develop in every sector, its presence will be far greater in medical, military sectors (14). There are strong possibilities that delicate operations in near future will be done by robots due to precise performance. In military sector, there is no doubt that the future war will be fought by robots rather than humans. The military forces around the world are concentrating greatly on quickly building up their robot fighters. The more they can raise their robot army efficiently the more chance they are going to have to dominate others.
USES OF FUTURE ROBOTS:
Robots are already a part of our lives. Industrial robots broadly used in factories in manufacturing. Military, police and defense organizations use robots in dangerous situations. Future uses of robots are not limited to "operative" tasks in manufacturing. On the contrary, some of the most significant future uses of robots may be to provide feasible means of providing services or exploiting resources that cannot be provided or exploited at all at present (15). Handling dangerous radioactive wastes on a routine basis in a future disposal facility are one example. The choice is between one kind of mechanization and another: human workers cannot be routinely exposed to these wastes. In telephone services, mobile robots (also called auto bot) would offer a much easier and greater degree of flexibility than telephone operators, or hard automation. Ex...

...tired or making mistakes, leading to improved quality. Robots help achieve higher production quality at a reduced operating cost compared to manual manufacturing. They help produce more parts with fewer defects using less equipment while maintaining their flexibility for future changes. Their capability is only increasing with time. Major robot manufacturers are regularly upgrading their robots with increased greater accuracy, payload capacity, increased reach and range of motion, speed and acceleration, faster communication with better safety features, lower operational cost and external equipment. Modern industrial robots offer different and multiple benefits and advantages. They have single-freely transformed products, companies and facilities. Recent developments have made industrial robots more affordable, user-friendly, easier and intelligent than ever before.
Validating an Idea through Research I love animation movies. To me, it’s reality but with a clay form finish and a quick life lesson thrown in. One of my favorite movies from my late teens was Robots. In the story, a young robot named Rodney invents a helper machine called Wonderbot. To create Wonderbot after so many failed inventions, Rodney does intensive technical research.
This paper discusses three aspects of the field of robotics The first is the history of where the ideas of robotics originated. Second, what was the effect that these ideas had on society? Finally, what developments in the field have proved to be useful to society?
Moreover, robots are faster, have longer endurance, high precision and immunity to chemical and biological weapons (Ronald Arkin). In the National Defense Act of 2001 the U.S. Congress, obviously impressed by the potential of robots saving lives on the battlefield, established the requirement for one-third of the ground vehicles and one-third of the deep-strike aircraft in the military to be robotic within the decade. Consequently, in the “Fiscal Year 2009-2034 Unmanned Systems Integrated Roadmap” of the office of the secretary of defense, the four categories that will be focused on are reconnaissance and surveillance, target identification and designation, counter-mine and explosive ordnance disposal, and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear detection (Stew Magnuson). As for now, most of the robot soldiers in the field are not fully autonomous. They are controlled by human soldier operators. However, the pressure of wars and the superior advantage of robots, which can make decisions on their own, will shift the interest in developing autonomous robots.
For many years robots have been used in factories and manufacturing processes to help humans do simple jobs. In the past robots were used for huge tasks such as in the production of a car by welding it or painting it. The future of robots in factories and manufacturing lies in the change of their utility. Robots are now being developed to do small tasks that take a high rate of precision. They also are being made to be smaller and easily reprogrammable, so they can do more than just one task in a singular location. The transition of robots taking a bigger role in the manufacturing process which forces out human workers is because of the reliability of having a consistent worker. Infosys an AI research company states, “ With robots attaining greater degrees of sensitivity in their touch capabilities, savvy manufactures are embracing robotics in greater volume to increase efficiency and work rates on production, picking and packing lines” (Limited, 2017) With robots becoming more advanced and cheaper to buy and operate many businesses have switched to robotics instead of workers. Robots can work continuously without stopping for a lunch break or to go home every 8 hours. In areas of the world that have high wages, robots are becoming an easy way for companies to cut cost by firing human employees they no longer need. They do not require a lot of training, which is an added cost to a company every time they hire a new human employee. Robots can also take over jobs that are dangerous for a human to do and perform the task at a higher success rate as well. In February of 2017 an article written by Kristin Houser explained how, a precision technology company in China replaced 90% of human employees with robots and saw 250% increase in production. A few of the issues with robots include the time needed to integrate and program
The military use of lethally autonomous robots (LAR) is not science fiction – it is happening right now. A robot is a mechanism guided by automatic controls. Autonomous robots are able to independently maintain stability and plan action. The first generation of military robots have operated under direct human control. The most well-known military robots are “drones” or unmanned aerial vehicles. The drone system currently in use is the unmanned aerial vehicles IAI Pioneer & RQ-1 Predator which can be armed with air-to-ground missiles and remotely operated from a command center. Drones have already been used by the U.S. military for unmanned air attacks in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other war zones. (Merchant, 276).
It’s predicted to stand at 6’2 which would be terrifying if someone were to replace the arms meant to lift rubble out of the way with guns. Many people think that if one country fully automates their military it will put more pressure on other countries to do the same. Consequently, countries that cannot afford to do so may be more at risk of being taken over. In addition, if a countries military consists of robots only, governments may have an easier decision to make if they want to go into war. This puts more pressure on civilians as they will have no say in the consequences that come with war.

Robots are used in factories and even in people’s homes. So what if the Terminator film series got it right? Human workers, who work in factories, machineries, mills, everyday human controlled jobs like cash registers operators, are being replaced by robotic automation. This is a major problem for the everyday employee. Jobs that were once held by human workers, are now being replaced every day by robot “workers”.
My biggest concern is that we cannot trust these robots. We all know how technology works these days. Oh wait, it hardly works. There is always something going wrong with technology; you can never rely on it. You want to write a research paper? Well good luck, the internet is most likely bound to be down. Isn’t that what always seems to happen? You never know with technology. Why would people think robots would be any different?...
The future has a good outlook for new technology in the military. Many possibilities include the unmanned war, where all the fighting will be done by robots and computers. Other possibilities include, space travel, new fuels, vehicles, and more.
Robots can do many different kinds of jobs . Robots help doctors do delicate surgeries since people can’t do it . People also send robots in war zones to look for hidden bombs and disable them since it is too hard and too dangerous for a human being . We also send robots to the depths of the ocean and the expanse of space. We don’t send humans in the ocean since they can’t go that deep and we don’t send humans into outer space since there are a lot of planets and places in space human beings can’t go on . Robotics is also a hobby . If you want to make a robot you need to have an sensor that detects what's going on . You would also need to have a controller that reacts to what the sensor detects and finally you need to have a affected that takes
Robotics was also a major part in the military advancements that we have today, for weapons and defenses. Today the military has drones, which are unmanned aircrafts, this a huge increase in safety from what it used to be. There are also things like claymores, and mines, which can be activated just by contact, During this time during wars instead of going into an area blind and losing lives, soldiers can send tiny planes to find out how many people are across enemy, because it is able to read the temperature of the human body.
...ts could be exposed to nuclear emission and not be harmed, so they could be replaced chemists who do the nuclear experiments. Third, vehicles manufacture requires sophisticated installation, which demand programmed robots to do the exact job. Moreover, installing vehicles parts mandate welding to wrap the parts as it could be done easily by robots. As Farum (2012) stated that robotic welding is cheaper, faster and could improve companies’ competitiveness.
