In this busy world people finds solutions for their busy life and so that the need of new devices grows day to day.
Robotic technology was one of the major and important solution for their busy life. According to the robotics pdf, chapter 1, the word ‘robot’ came from Czech language ‘robota’. Robota means labour. This was introduced by Czech writer Karel Čapek in his play which was published in 1920 called R.U.R. (Rossum's Universal Robots). The word "robotics" was coined by Isaac Asimov in his 1941 science fiction short-story “Liar”.( robotics, pdf, chapter1) [6]
As mentioned in the sciweb.ulster.ac.uk (robotics, pdf, chapter1) [6] the International Organization for Standardization (IOS) has given a definition for the robot as follow.

1.1.1.1Cartesian Robots.
Following figure 1 shows a Cartesian robot manipulator and these types of robots are used in assembly and welding operations in the industry. Figure 1 – Cartesian Robot Manipulator. (geniusdevils.com, Genius Prayag, 2013)[45]
1.1.1.2 Cylindrical Robots.
Following figure 2 shows the cylindrical robot manipulator and these kinds of robots are used for machine tools handling. As mentioned in the slideshare.net (Prasanth, 2012) [46] in these kinds of robots, one joint is revolute and one joint is prismatic. 1.1.1.3 Spherical Robots.
Following figure 3 shows a spherical robot manipulator and as shown in following figure, it consists of two joints and one is a prismatic joint. Figure 3 – Spherical robot manipulator. (International Journal of Reconfigurable Computing,
Volume 2010) [47]
1.1.1.4 SCARA Robots.
As mentioned in the Robotworx.com [48] these types of robots are used for assembly purposes and SCARA means Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm. Following figure 4 shows the kinematic diagram of SCARA
Introduction: the aim of this assignment is to gain general awareness and an understanding of the legal requirements and responsibilities that are involved in the safe working practices associated with robotic assisted manufacture. This is to be achieved by the identification of associated hazards with robotic applications and provide an understanding of how these hazards are overcome.
“The Robot Invasion” written by Charlie Gillis, characterizes the appellation of robots and how it’s viewed. Robots have many benefits ranging from working in factories assisting production, as well as the construction of motor vehicles. Exchanged views concerning the progression in robotic technology due to their great benefits in the businesses within the marketplace. Equally important, to aid in the everyday domestic housework.
robot to be low-cost, the metal parts would have to be aluminum. There would be little to no specialized
Fabrication at the factory utilizes a mix of robotics and manual labor to produce the body of the V-Rod. Robots that are designed to cut pipe are capable of completing a single operation within 3 seconds. Other fabrication robots utilize 1800 watt lasers that can perform cutting operations at the rate of 100 inches per minute. Where robotics can be used to perform high speed cutting and welding operations, skilled workers are a...
In the past, if a purchaser of a Haitian and Zhafir injection molding machine wanted a Sepro robot, they needed to purchase it separately. Now, it can be sold with the IMM and the robots will have a user interface based on Sepro’s Visual robot control that is fully integrated and accessible from the Haitian or Zhafir IMM operator interface. All control settings and robot data will be accessible through the IMM control panel.
Asimov’s robots can be described as clumsy, hard-working, cost-efficient, soulless, strong, fast, obedient, human-made, a cleaner better breed, more human than man.

One of the most important parts of a robotic arm is a body structure to support itself and the parts inside. It has to have a muscle system to move the body. A power source to power the entire robot and all of its gears and essential parts. It has to have a sensory system of some kind to detect obstacles and interact with the world around it. Mechanisms are the arrangement of the connected parts. There are different types of sensors some allow a robot to hear sounds and respond to them. Other sensors let a robot smell like a human being while others allow robots to actually taste food and
Robots and complex mechanical structures have been around since the Greek mathematician Archytas invented and created a small mechanical bird powered by steam (Should the human). Homer theorized these machines before they were even created in his book, “the Iliad”. He describes them as golden servants who were created by the god Hephaestus. Homer is also the man who coined the term robot (Patrick 4). Leonardo da Vinci also created blueprints for a mechanical knight that could be considered a robot by today’s terms (Patrick 3).
My robot is divided into 3 basic parts (not including the RCX brick). Below the RCX,

Lathe wheel driven with the help of servo motor can be seen on computer aided lathe machines i.e. CNC lathe machines. Here a servo is used as the spindle motor. The motor can be given to move in a linear or rotary motion. This allows us to control the speed and angular position of the tool.
Each of the six basic styles of robot used in industry today were designed with different applications in mind. Some of the robots were designed for assembly, others are more suited for simple pick and place applications, while a select few are capable of carrying heavy loads over a large area.
To conclude, robots could be the backbone of the society that will result in a technological revolution. Because of robots various characteristics that do not experience fear, nor exhaustion and they are precisely programmed, which make them able to help in case of need, housework, and factories production. Society needs to put the issue of robots into consideration to satisfy any shortage exists in the world.
