Robin Roberts was born in Tuskegee, AL in 1960. After her father retired, she moved to the Mississippi Gulf coast. When Robin came home after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, my family and I met her and took a picture with her. Robin was one of those people who you knew wasn’t acting interested in your problems, she really cared. Even though Robin Roberts is from a small town, she has still accomplished many impressive goals in her life. November 23, 1960, Robin René Roberts was born. She was the youngest of four children. After WLOX her career began to take off. Robin moved to Nashville, where Roberts won “Sportscaster of the Year” in 1987. She then moved to Atlanta, where she anchored sports. Robin won her dream job as a sportscaster for ESPN. This was just the beginning of her career. In 2005, she landed a job as a co-anchor of Good Morning America. Some of Robert’s co-anchors are Michael Strahan, Lara Spencer, Ginger Zee, David Muir, and George Stephanopoulos.
